Washer keeps blowing fuses
Do you mean the houses circuit breaker? If so, WHEN in the cycle does it blow the circuit breaker? WHEN it trips will tell you what to look at. I.E. If the circuit breaker trips during the fill cycle then it would be the walter inlet valve or the timer in the control panel; if it trips as soon as it is in the agitator cycle - then the motor or transmission; if it trips in the spin cycle - then the drain pump or transmission or control panel.
LSG 1000 wisher will not
As a recap ,
You have a lsg 1000 washer and dryer (stacked unit)
You can wash and it goes through first cycle fine, meaning it will fill water, agitate and then spins and dis guards dirty water. BUT when it goes to put fresh water back into fill and do final rinse it, trickles out and almost sounds like its trying , but then it stops. Then you said you have to manually filled it by starting first cycle over and run through it to rinse clothes and have it spin to finish process. My advice and trouble shooting is the problem lies in the electronics. You said the whole control panel is one unit and is electronic.I believe it is in the electronic panel, and they only sell these as a unit. But I also suggested to try and see if maybe just maybe the converter is working proper, that is where it triggers, from one cycle to the other. However, i believe it still is in the electronic panel not working proper to switch to next cycle. I wish I could help you more over the phone, but when a electronic panel goes out or partially goes out, it normally has to be replaced, and like you said it has been running fine for 26 years, so you still i believer are a head of the game when it comes to getting your moneys worth for this unit last thus far that long. If any thing else I can help you with, feel free to respond, and I will do my best. Thank, Mike from fixya
Gas comes on for 5
Hi,
If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heatingthe most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glowssometimes it is still not working properly.
if you dryer is gas check out this
gas no heat tip....
If you have an electric dryer, you can have many differentthings that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.

I think I have to replace the blower wheel in my
Why do you think you need to replace the blower wheel assembly? If it is not drying completely make sure the ducting is clean and free from obstructions. If the dryer is not getting hot you may need to check the three thermostats or the gas valve and igniter. You can order parts from Appliancepartspros.com, which are in stock. If one of the thermostats are defective the dryer will not heat up. You need to use an ohm meter and a heat gun to test the thermostats. If the thermostats are good see if the igniter has voltage to it and is sparking. If it does you need to make sure the gas valve is functioning.
The advantage of the stackable unit is the compact size and lower total cost. The disadvantage is the small tub and drum limiting the size of loads you can run. I also think the larger units do a better job of cleaning if you have the space and funds.
Can you repair it yourself? If you have the knowledge of how to use a Volt/Ohm Meter and some mechanical skills, I think you can repair it yourself. Keep in mind you need to fix the cause of the problem before you fix the problem, or you will have the same failure again (make sure you have good air flow in your ducting). Most appliance parts stores will not take back electronic parts once you have opened or installed them. Therefore, you need to identify the part is defective before replacing it. Some appliance parts stores will test the part for you.
No water anytime. tried replacing
Hi.
The door switch can be tested by jumping its contacts. Moreover, if problem was the door switch the machine won't cycle.
Rather then being the door switch I think that the problem is the pressure switch. The pressure switch detects the water level. It stops voltage to inlet valve and send the signal to advance to spin when drain is complete and there is no water.
Before replacing the pressure switch test the inlet valve. The inlet valve can be tested reading Ohms at its terminals. If it reads infinity, then the valve solenoid has blown, and the valve will not open.
Here all parts and diagrams for your model:

The washing machine will not
Hello. Your problem most likely lies in one of two areas:
Selector switch
If your washer has a selector switch on the control panel, make sure the button for your selection is pressed all the way in, or set properly.
Drive motor
Many washing machines have multiple-speed drive motors. Though it's uncommon, the drive motor may work fine on one speed but not on another. If the drive motor has failed on one speed, you need to replace the entire motor.
