Date stamp
The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

The camera will not deface your photos by scrawling a string of digits across them. However the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Flash not working
You have a defective mode switch assembly which will require replacement by a camera shop. This is not a user fix.
On switch won't work / turn
Hello,The rotary switch that you refer to is not available from Kodak.It is mainly sold as the complete rear housing assembly which is the rear half of the camera.You may contact me at

Card locked appears on screen
Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
Read sd card on computer
ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.
Batteries leaked in my camera
I am afraid that this may be the end of the camera for you. That acid almost for sure got into the rest of the components of the camera and corroded it.
