Canon EOS-5D Digital Camera Questions & Answers
Plastic lens part inside 5d fell out what should I do?
Since you weren't really clear about what the part is or looks like it's hard to tell. Most lens repairs of any kind that would require opening the lens in any manner are best handled by professionals. Too much of a risk of ruining a lens.
When I insert the CF card, and then turn the
If trying another card doesn't work then reformat your CF card in your computer choosing a Quick Format option. Then place it in the camera, do an immediate card format in the camera. If you've got images on the card now DO NOT SHOOT ANYTHING on the card before running an image recovery program like Sandisk RescuePro. As long as you don't shoot anything new on the card RescurPro should recovery all the existing images.

Caannon ti1 error 30
Error 30 appears if the memory card is inaccessible. The cause is often a corrupted memory card resulting from an interrupted read/write operation often caused by a camera shutdown from a dead battery or removing the memory card while camera is on. Try a different card to see if it works.
Also, you can use a photo recovery program on the memory card or just reformat the card in your computer if there are no images you need to save on the card. Even after formatting, you can still use a recovery program to access photos on the card but be sure you don't use it again before you recover.
5d powers up, displays pictures, makes noise, but will not take pictures
Hi. 1) Make sure that the memory card is not full.
If 1) is ,ok, 2) Turn on the camera, go to the menu, reset the camera to the factory setting, If this does not solve the problem, 3) check if the lens is mounted correctly,if it is, 4) try a different lens. Always refer to the camera manual for the correct way to carry out these tests.
Canon 5dII blue light
If you are talking about the photos you are taking inside with Lights on then you may have incorrectly set the wrong colour balance. Try setting the colour balance to AWB <Auto> or adjust to Tungsten (Light bulbs) or White flourescent light (for tube lights).
Water damage 5d
Your camera is probably a lost cause, but if you remove the covers you may be able to clean the corrosion off of the circuit boards. Put a small amount of WD40 on a Q-tip (don't squirt it on the board). It does a good job of dissolving corrosion. If there is corrosion in the flex connectors the flexes plug in to the board they are on will have to be replaced. Some boards require software to replace. You do have a chance because this camera doesn't have built in flash, so you did not short 300 volts into the circuit. If it was sea water it drastically lowers the odds of success.
The battery runs out everytime when i forgot to remove it from my camera.
How old are your batteries? Try a brand new (I mean a new in the package, not one you think is new) battery and see if this works OK. If it does then your batteries are worn out and should be replaced (a very common problem I see almost every day). If a freshly charged brand new battery does this then you have a short - probably in the DC to DC power board. You may also have a short caused by a loose screw that is floating around inside.
