it might just be a power spike in which case your machine just shot an error while it protected itself...

try the following...
press additional functions
press 2 and 8 at the same time
press additional function
press code error
press copier
press function
press clear
press error
press ok
press reset

if that doesn't work then call a tech.

replace cartridge with new one

Ok here is how to reset the error if that doesn't work... you really need to call a tech... you are going to need some serious work done on your copier... ok... here are the instructions

I have Canon IR 3045, is giving the following message "finisher cannot be used" is there any solution to reset the message.

why not check the printer properties for the online menu

by overload of it

if u r still having this problem with the imagerunner 3570 u can try this:
press * 2&8 together then * again
go to function
then to clear
select eroor then ok that should take care of ur issue

Have you replaced the fixing film unit or just the film? Did you reset the error in service mode?

Plz check fixing film when u open fixing unit u find a white color sensor plz clean it with clean cloth or if your film is torr then u need to change it with new
