I had this problem it turned out to be a paper jam I could see it sitting under the front rollers behind the ink cartridge transport. I removed the back panel and then the transport cover exposing the paper. I then gently removed the paper. That sorted it no problems. HI, you need to take off the reductor sistem and there are a dual gear with a spring in the midel, maybe it is out of plase......

Do you get a specific error message?

you can't unless that printer has that capability you have to print one side flip it over and print on the other side. do a test run to make sure you put the first side in right. some printers will have a test for printing both sides.

Some printers do not accept reused cartridges if they are refilled. You may need to buy "new" (not refurbished and refilled) cartridges made by the manufacturer. Be sure the heads are clean if the cartridges are new. I would exchange them if you recently purchased them.

Probably you've already tried the steps at about pages 79 and 90 in the manual . Try also cleaning off the nubs that touch the contacts on the cartridge. They might have some ink vapor coating them. If none of this helps, the printhead is clogged or defective. Sometimes a printhead cleaner will help. You can try taking all the cartridges out, turning off the printer, let it sit for a couple minutes, reinstalling the cartridges, and turning back on. This is more like voodoo magic, but once in a while it works.If not, then you pretty much have to kiss off the printer since the printhead is not replaceable.

open it, and suck out all the ink, usually it will work by dissolving it with water, and then drying the absorber.
