MY printer prints blank pages
probably an ink cartridge problem..Try executing nozzle check on the maintenance tab on printer and faxes then check the results if it prints properly. if there is still a problem deep cleaning is recommended and if it doesn't work then its the time to replace both black and color ink cartridges.
Why doesn't my HP Deskjet 3522 wireless printer work on my network with sharing enabled?
With wireless printers you generally don't need to share them through windows. There should be a driver that you install on each device that will help you setup the wireless printer. Another common issue with most printers on a home network is that they get assigned a dhcp provided IP address and of the lease expires and gets consumed by another device then all your print jobs will end up going to the other device. It's sort of like the printers rental agreement comes to an end and has to move house but hasn't updated its address details. To fix this you setup a reservation on your router or set a manual IP address in the printer settings (just make sure the manually entered address doesn't get used by dhcp so male or serving high. E.g. 192.168.0.123). I know canon found a way around this by using a unique DNS name along with a network update tool so it didn't matter of the printer got a new address, not sure about HP though. Good luck

The printer won't print.
(1) Open the printer and wait for the carriage to slide over
(2) Remove the ink cartridges from the print head.
(3) Use cotton swabs dipped in hot water or isopropyl alcohol to thoroughly clean the print head and each ink cartridge.
(4) Repeat this until there is no ink residue coming off on the cotton swab.
(5) Once finished, allow to dry and replace the cartridges
(6) Try to print something now
If that does not work, then you need to try soaking the print head. In this case:
(1) Remove the print head from the printer
(2) Soak it in hot water for an hour or so
(3) Remove it, let it dry completely
(4) Replace the print head and cartridges and test it
The paper holder is full and I'm still getting the message "tyere is bo paper"
If you don't have a bad switch, you might not be pushing the paper in all the way. If you're loading 8.5x11", the edge of the paper should be sticking out only about .25" from the tray. Be sure the paper guides are snug against both sides of the paper, too; if the paper is off-center it might be missing the switch.

MP500 Doesn't power on ...plugged in back & wall (good outlet)
You did not specify what, if anything, happened before it stopped working but, from the sound of things, a voltage spike may have tripped an internal breaker. Try unplugging it from the wall for an hour or so - it is important that the machine receive NO power at all - to let the breaker reset, then plug it in and try again. As for opening it up, I don't know; mine is a Pixma MG3500.
My PIXMA MP500 won't print. All appears normal
Due to the fact that no error messages appear and the print job reaches the printer, I believe that the formatter board is faulty. If this is the case ( and it is 90% of the time ) the most economical thing to do is purchase another printer.
