I have an R51 1836-Q6U. When I turn on the laptop

You should try connecting an external monitor. If it shows nothing at all or a scrambled image or it does load to Windows but won't let you change the resolution or the color space, your graphics chip most probably got overheated and de-soldered itself. There is no easy fix. This would involve taking the laptop apart and either heating the GPU (which would end up being a temporary fix) or sending of the motherboard to professionals who specialize in GPU re-soldering.

Ibm r51 2887 wireless driver

The same model ThinkPad can have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless you know exactly which one is installed in your ThinkPad, you need to download all the drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver. When you download the drivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a record of which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files are located on your hard drive. Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB site - support/download page and download the latest Windows device drivers for your model computer, Use this link: - http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FbrowseByProductLandingPage.vm&sitestyle=lenovo&brandind=10&validate=true
