First, you may want to try this updated driver from logitech that seems to be built for WIn 7.
If this is somehow incompatible there are other options:
Have you tried installing with XP compatibility mode?
You may also want to give this driver a try as it is a couple of versions above the one you listed and may have bugs worked out for Win 7 installation. Hit the download button and wait a few seconds when the other screen loads. Don't download their PC Optimizer thingy lol.

Hope the links help and give me a shout if you need more help :)

If you have changed your hardware setup, you must reprogram your Harmony 880 using the Logitech software. You should be able to simply step through the 'interview-like' process and enter the new make and model number of the new hardware. It is usually recommended to add the new device first and then associate the new device with your existing Activities. Once your Activities have been mapped to use the new device, you can delete the old one. Once everything has been completed in the software, update your remote through the USB connection. Hope this helped!

I have seen channel designations like this when using a satellite TV provider. From what I know (which is not a lot, I'm afraid) is that some affiliates offer analog and digital and digital sub channels so an example would be:

05 (main analog channel)
05-1 'digital' (depending on the receiver)
05-2 'digital sub channel'
05-3 'digital sub channel'
etc

So, you may want to try just putting in the main channel '05' when using the Logitech software to program your favorites. Below is a link to a good post on the Logitech forum that tells how to program your favorites. Hope this helps!

Harmony 880 will not recharge anymore

Try pressing down on the remote, and wiggling it around. It's just that the pins are not making contact.

If pressing down helps, you can fasten it on with a elasitc band or something so that it keeps charging. Also, if it is still under warranty, I woul advise contacting Logitech's wonderful support team to get replaced.

Hope that helps!

My Harmony 880 remote stopped working where can i

It all depends on what your specific problem is. Logitech will not repair remotes once they are out of warranty. However, you can find lots of guidance on the web to assist you with the most common issues that affect the Harmony 880/890 series. If your remote is programmed correctly but no longer controls any of your devices, then most likely your LED IR emitters have burned out. There is an Ebay-hosted service that fixes this problem for $14.00. I have a harmony 880 remote. Won't charge now.

Generally there are three possibilities (apart from the battery going bad) that can cause your remote not to charge:

1) Some folks have reported that the battery is not sitting tightly enough in the battery compartment. You can try folding a small piece of thin cardboard and place it between the battery and the back of the compartment. This will push the battery towards the front of the compartment and create a tighter connection against the contacts.

2) There have been reports of problems with some of the charging cradles in which the remote does not make sufficient contact with the contacts in the cradle. To ensure that the remote begins to charge, place it in the cradle and listen for a single beep. The slide show should start and then, after a few moments the screen should darken. If you hear two beeps at any time, it means that the remote has lost contact with the charging cradle and has 'woken' and is no longer in charging mode. Wiggle the remote to ensure that it is sitting in the cradle and making contact.

3) If you still have trouble after you have tried everything above, there may be a loose connection inside the remote itself. There is a very small plug that connects the charging terminals on the remote to the battery compartment. In some cases, this plug can become loose (especially if the remote has been dropped). Opening the remote and checking to make sure that the plug is completely seated is another thing to check if all else fails.

880 universal remote volume button broke. little

My volume button also broke (actually, the VOLUME UP function stopped working). Rather than trying to get the remote fixed, I found a different solution...
I reprogrammed the + key (bottom left of the remote) to be my new Volume UP function. You can do this by going to any of the activities you've already defined, and adding a custom button to the activity.
Choose the + button (it will probably not have an existing function), and tell it to use the Volume Up function of the component you normally use for volume. In my case, it was the Home Theater Receiver.
I hope that helps.

Harmony 880 Logitech won't change channels

Was it working before?  Is it possible you selected the wrong brand of TV when programming the remote?  Do you use a cable box or satellite dish with your TV (in other words, do you change channels by changing the channel on the TV, or on the digital box connected to your TV)?

Need logitech z340 control pod or compatible controller even if not logitech brand

The Logitech Z-340 control pod or a compatible controller can be found in a few different places. Here are a few options:
  1. Logitech website: You can check the Logitech website to see if they still carry the control pod or compatible controller for the Z-340.
  2. Online retailers: You can check online retailers such as Amazon, eBay, and Best Buy to see if they have the control pod or compatible controller in stock.
  3. Specialized Electronic retailers: Some specialized electronic retailers like B&H, Newegg, and Fry's may have the control pod or compatible controller.
  4. Local electronics stores: You can check local electronics stores in your area to see if they have the control pod or compatible controller in stock.
  5. Second-hand marketplaces: You can also try checking second-hand marketplaces like Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, and OfferUp to see if someone is selling a used control pod or compatible controller.
It's important to note that, if you decide to go for a non-Logitech controller, you should make sure it's compatible with your Logitech Z-340. And it's best to check the compatibility before buying the controller.
