Plug your keyboard into another computer. If the keyboard works, then the port on your original computer may not be working. Confirm that your keyboard is set to the english language. Go to your control panel and click on the "Regional and Language Options" icon. If the setting appears to be in a foreign language, change it to English/U.S.Check if your number lock key is on. If so, depress the key to disengage it. Run a character key test by using the Microsoft Keyboard Diagnostics (MSKEY) program. While in the MSKEY program, hit several keys to make certain that they are the same keys that are identified in the MSKEY window
for laptop Click the "Start" button to look for the Control Panel option. Click the "Control Panel" choice and look for the Clock, Language and Region section. Select the "Clock, Language and Region" section and then select "Language." Click the "Keyboards and Language" tab, and select "Change Languages." Select the "Advanced Key Settings" tab and select the language that you should have. Basically, you toggled the language of the keyboard. Look at the code under "Hot Keys" for input languages. It will tell you what two keys toggle the languages on your keyboard. Remember these for next time, so you can just push them again to toggle back. hope this helps
Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty
One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive
Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions EIDE SATA
the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty computers need power and data to travel through every working device and to have a finishing point to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error even something as small as faulty fan and the fans electrical lead can cause this problem if this fails to fix the problem another possible reason could be a memory dump you might be running to many programs at the one time placing to much strain on the CPU also you might not have enough RAM random access memory
hope this helps you
Click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question mark ? or exclamation mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers
If your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it
Want to make sure your drivers are in place and no errors have occurred? Simply click start right click on my computer select properties then select device manager scroll to Display Adapters and click on the small "+" you should see the model of your PCI Express graphic card there. If there is a problem with it, a yellow exclamation mark should appear besides it. If you don't see it everything is OK and your card is working properly.
