Thats a very common problem with that model which is caused by the small signal board needing replacement. comcast sucks and its tech support are a bunch of idiots. the book that comes with the remote is wrong (and for some reason no one in tech support knows this). the remote requires 5 digit codes and all the codes in the book are 4. typing the number 1 in front of any of the codes in the book, for any device and manufacturer, should fix this problem.

I found the answer. By trying a guess in my head, with a calculator.506 / 21 was wrong then I went with 506 / 22 got me 23.anyway...

Normally if a resistor has burned you will need to locate the cause or a replacement resistor will surely blow instantly in most cases? Is your model the HD52W59 RCA with the ITC222A chassis? If so let me know the resistor board location number such as RP256 etc.
