Most RCA sets use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The code reset is different depending on the model. Try each number until you find the one that works for you.

Now, if desired, you can change the settings on the V-chip by going to the MENU and going to PARENTAL CONTROLS, or on some sets, going to MENU and then going to TV SETUP, then to V-CHIP SET.

Take the remote and turn the set on. With FPA (Front Panel Access, or Child Lock) on, the set will only turn on with the remote. Enter the menu, navigate to the page with FPA and set it to OFF.

with tv off press and hold both CH- and Vol- at same time untill tv comes on you should now be in service menu.

If you have the original remote (RC-A07) for Sinotec tv, then press and hold down the Music button for about 10 seconds.

you have a problem in the vertical section of tv, take your fist and hit the top of the tv, if it flickers or fills out you have loose solder joints which is common in that model, if not you need a tv repairman. not to expensive to repair normally

If it is a regular TV which is what the model number listed suggests, the problem is in the vertical circuit of the set. Confirm the model number for me and also an approximate cost of the set when new.

you have a problem on the neck board of your tv there are three transistors there that mix the colousr check them and change the defective one if that does not solve your problem ic 301 on the circuit board is defective replace it.but you re not a tech have a tech do your repairs.good luck.
