RCA RTD300 DVD/VCR Home Theatre System System Questions & Answers
Hi i was just wondering if you guys can help me
You need to contact RCA. They will then tell you where to take the DVD player. That place will either fix it or tell RCA that it can't be done and RCA will then authorise a replacement. You don't need to pay anything to have it fixed. You might need the receipt to prove you purchased it and when.
Hi i was just wondering
to start with fixya site doesn't do repairs

Need remote

I'll have to go with Ironfist109 on their question. You can order a new remote on the website of the manufacturer, but you must get the Model number on the unit to determine what remote you need to order. The model number can be located on the back of the device. Once you have this, you can go the the RCA website, and go to support. From there you can order a new remote. Hope this helps!
I cant get my theater
If only two of the speakers out of all are working, there is a possibility that your system is set to stereo audio instead of 5.1 channel surround sound. The easiest way to check and fix this problem would be to look on your remote control for the audio or "surround" button, and press it.. A notification should come up either on screen or on the unit itself, and tell you whether or not it is on Stereo, or Surround Sound! Hope this helps, if that doesn't fix your problem please post back!
Connecting RCA RT2770 to PC
Yes. Take the output from the sound card and connect it to one of the tape inputs. Note: you should use the "line out" jack for this.

Only getting left and right speakers from my
It sounds like your system's audio is set to stereo mode, instead of surround sound. On the bottom-right of your remote, there should be a button labeled "surround" that changes the setting between the two modes. I hope this helps.
I just bought a RCA rtd3131 home theater system.
If the cable tv has audio out jacks, or if you have a cable box with an optical audio cable, plug either the audio jacks into the RCA system or the optical audio cable, and the system should automatically simulate 5.1, through Dolby Pro Logic II. All speakers will not be at the same volume as they are simulating surround sound, not just playing the audio.
The TV will never have sound for the DVD as this system has no audio out puts. Realistically, most televisions have 10w speakers, and this system is 130w, so the TV speakers are useless in comparison.
Won't do anything
On page 5 of the user manual, there is a note about a "Child Lock". The solution may be to put the remote in the VCR mode, and press the ON/OFF Button for 8 seconds and the word "LOCK" should go away
