The elongation of font or image is due to lsu.lser scaning unit. Some times due to the environment of high moist or cosmetic shopes etc.
For remedies you can dissassembly the lsu and clean optical paths inside with dry cotton and confirm there is no lints stucks inside. Close thw lsu and test. If problem persists replace mpba(mother board). Before replacing mpba do all ram clear on tech mode.Menu+#+1934. Within 4 secs. And scroll to memory clear.

Paper jam 1 caused du to the photo interupture and the lever connected at SMPS. Check the lever and sensor.

Connect the telecom line to the socket marked LINE at the back side cover. Put the document on the platen glass or ADF face upward. Press OHD to get dial tone dial the required fax no. hear the call progress tone of fax press START key. Some model display 1sending 2receiving. Press 1 to send.

In the back of the printer, after you take out the back side, there is a contact with two wire: black and red. That switch is presed by the cartridge. Or you should push more the cartridge into the printer.

If you have a CRU Fuse error, you have probably purchased an after market toner cartridge. If so, take the cartridge out of the machine and at the back of the cartridge you will see a small 'dummy' fuse. Take that 'dummy' fuse out of the cartridge and your printer will work. I know, it happened to me.

Dear On the left front (drum side) of the cart there is a notch, bellow the cart. fuse. If it was broken it can not s/w on the micro switch fitted on the base, replace the cart. Thanks.

Dear you hav not mentioned paper jam(0,1,2 ) JAM 0 sensor at bottom of the HVPS a lever attached to this may not work properly. foun at the base. JAM 1 sensor at the bottom of the SMPS a lever attached to it may not work properly check it. JAM 2 sensor at top of the HVPS the lever is attached to fusser assy may not work check check all springs attached to the levers are working properly. thanks.

Dear Pl. check the SMPS found under back cover, at the bottom of the smps ther is a sensor and leaver attached on base. Do check the spring and its position, replace the smps or sensor. Thanks.

Dear Connect the telephone line to the LINE socket of the fax machine and a telephone receiver unit to the EXT socket of the fax machine. To send a fax, put the document on the platen glass (face downward) or face upward in case of ADF. press on hook dial, (here the dial tone on machines speaker) dial the fax no. ( wait for call connection and here the fax Rx. tone) press START. To receive a fax two procedure can made, manual- lift a hand set of telephone receiver on incoming ring, here the TX tone(periodical beep tone) press * 9 * of the telephone receiver. In auto mode go to fax setup select ans. to ring or auto fax etc. to activate atuo reveive of fax. Hope this may helpful. Thanks.

try to clean adf rollers or else replace them..

replace fuser and update firmware

Check both ends of the Flat cable between the scanner unit and logic PCB. Trim edge of the damaged ends by about 1 mm (if damaged). Clean the mirrors of the LSU. Turn on and try. Service manual can be Down loaded from the internet if required.

replace the battery

hi i think its some short circit to ur fax boart to or telephone line. beter u check ur telephone line and fax modem card.

I would need more info to help you. Where is the paper jamming if you just run one copy?

1- Have you set the fax machine up to auto receive in the settings and 2- Have you plugged in the Phone line to the machine and made sure that both ends are plugged in the jacks. This is not the network cable but a seperate jack that uses a phone line.

the left portion of the cartridge has a small portion like our toung projected from the main body, kindly check it may be brokned or not. if it ok, it has executing a sensor connected to the monther board. kindly check that will working or not.....
