I believe it indicates your in headset mode, and lights up when you do not have a headset button

Samsung DS-5014S locked msg passcode, although I am able to change the passcode as written in the user guide but when I want to enter it says: invalid entry. How can I reset the whole passcode and set up a new one?

Hi, try checking that the pro shop number is set to ring at their extension and not a group. to do this;
press Transfer
1234
1 to enable
speaker (blue key)

then type 714. use the volume key to take you to the number of the pro shop, then use the 3rd softkey under the screen until you get to the destination required. I have posted a video off the http://www.abbeytelecom.com website explaing more about how to do this.more like these are on this site.

Hi, you need your main telephone number to ring at a group ie 500, then you need to add the extensions to that group, I will try to explain;

With your handset down press TRANSFER - 200 - 1234 - 1 - SPEAKER KEY

Then dial 714, use the volume key to find the phone number required, the using the 3rd little soft key under the screen find the 1 or DAY destination type in the group number .

Then press speaker and go to 601 and add the members to the chosen group, I have uploaded a video explaining how to do this step. Go to http://www.abbeytelecom.com for more training and programming tips.

Conferencing

Make call or when you have answered a call.

On the screen will appear CONF, PAGE, and MUTE

Press left hand soft key that is under CONF

Make next call by dialling 9 plus no. or the extension no.

Once you have the person you wish to speak to connected press CONF twice until you are all connected together.

You can have up to 5 people in a conference, you just repeat the process.

To leave the conference but leave the other parties to carry on (unsupported conference) Press CONF followed by your own extension no. This has to be the extension which started the conference.

I assume that your message is on Voice mail, if this is the case , dial into the VM via the night VM key (where the night messages are stored), enter the passcode then dial 0 - 5 - 7 then 3, record the new message then press the # key to store, hopefully this will help, I've sent a clip from http://www.abbeytelecom.com .

Hi, At the handset that you want to change, with the handset down, press TRANSFER 104 - press the HOLD button to delete the name which is currently showing, type in the new name using the keypad - as you would text on a mobile, however the buttons do not time out you have to move the cursor along using the Volume key, Once you have the name you want press TRANSFER to store. hi if you press your Voice Mail button on your handset a number will flash on the screen (i.e. 519) this is your VM number, with the handset down dial 602 followed by that VM number. Hi you should be able to do this by pressing either 601 + 9- ( external number) or 605 +-9 (external number) please be aware that forwarding to external only works if the inbound caller is going to an extension and not a group. What you need to do on the 24 button phone is reprogramme the soft keys again, to check what they are currently set as, dial 'Transfer 107' use your volume key to scroll down each entry. You then need to progamme 1 of the keys to be 'RTO' another to be 'RP1' and lastly 'RP2' ( RP stands for Ring Plan), In order to carry out the programming it would be easier for me to send you a link to one of our videos on Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZklhmzvvDw&feature=related . To action night service press RTO and select 1 for Day , 2 for NIGHT.
