We need more information to assist you. Remote control error on your computer? Remote control error on your DirecTV remote? Is it remote control for RDP connection?

There is NO solution to this problem. I'm an electronics engineer. I have three Samsung TV and IR remote extenders. It is a continual problem. If someone told you could "re-program" the Samsung remote, they must have thought you could write assembly level programming code. There is NO incentive for Samsung to modify their highly popular, simple, cheap remote system.
Believe me, I even tried putting polarizing filters over the IR sensors but the ones for cameras do not polarize light at IR frequencies.

unplug for 10 mins then try again

1. Press tv on your Sky remote control.

2. Press and hold down select and the red button together until the red light at the top of your Sky remote control flashes twice.

3. Press tv again

Then enter the remote control code using the number keypad. The red light will flash twice if a valid code has been entered.

Samsung Code: 0060

4. Point your Sky remote control at your TV and press the Power button. If this turns the off as you'd expect, then the tv should be set, press Select and the remote should work

5. If the TV does not turn off press tv, then press the Power button again, repeat this process until the TV turns off, when the TV turns off press Select.

A hard reset might make the TV back into life. Unplug it from AC mains Wall power socket, and plug it back after 5 minutes or so. Try it.

We would be happy to help get that fixed. It sounds like you may be in the incorrect screen format. Press the * located below the number 7 on the DISH Network remote control. Cycle the formats to determine the screen format that fits best.

Ok I can help you with this for sure but need to know what kind of remote you are trying to program the code into? Remotes use different code sets based on the remote type.

Please just reply to my answer here with the type of remote you have and I will get right back to you with the codes.
