The sound completely fades during

Hello,

Let verify first to narrow down to where the problem can be. First, check the on screen sound set up menu to make sure the speakers are not set to OFF. If the setting is OK, then attach the powered PC speakers to the Audio Line out RCA jacks to see if you can get the sound there, if you do, then the problem can be in the power amp circuits, if you do not get the sound at RCA jacks, then the problem can be in the sound processor circuit. To get the sound repair, it can be from $150 and up, so if you can put up with using the good set of Powered PC speakers which actually give better sound than the tiny speakers inside the TV, I would keep using it that way, you may want to find out if the on screen sound setup will allow you to set the audio line out to be VARIABLE which means the sound output feeding the PC speakers can be varied using the TV remote control, then all you have to do is to set the PC volume to about half way up and set the TV volume to what ever you want..

I hope that this will help solve the problem.....

I bought a new Samsung

You usually hear "weak or no signal" when the tv's input is set to air. Check to see if changing the input might help. Or if you are using an antenna to get your tv, then maybe your antenna is not powerful enough. The new digital signal is weaker than the analog, so antennas that once worked might not work as well now. Hope this helps!

Samsung flat screen will not power on

What you have wrong with your tv is in the power supply board, it is a very common problem which you can fix yourself for around $30 this is a MAJOR Samsung problem and thousands of people are having this problem. What you need to do is deenergize your tv and lay it face down on a table so you can work on it. Use a philips screwdriver to remove all the screws on the back cover of the tv make sure to remember where they go for when you put it back together. Remove the back cover and follow the two wired from where your tv power cord comes in and in the middle of your tv they will plug into a board, this is your power supply board. Look for blown capacitors, also check the fuses the tops will be bulging upward and caps have writing on them like 10v 1000uf or 2200 uf and 3300uf are the most common. What you will need to do is replace these with a 16v cap but be sure the uf number is the same, and you need 105 degree rated caps. There is also a negative side to the capacitor which is marked with a stripe and a shorter leg on the bottom, these have to go in the same way or you will blow the board, remove the board with screwdriver and disconnect all wires, now you will need your tools solder, soldering iron, and preferably a solder ****** to remove the old bad caps here is a youtube link that shows u step by step just go there and type samsung power supply repair, and whether you have a vizio, philips or another model that this is posted on they all have samsung power supplies in them so if you are having power problems this is your fix, you should be able to get all your parts at radio shack or on the web. Thank you and votes are welcome and if you cant find the parts get to me and I can help you get them

My TV was moved and

Most possible that the memory board has encountered some loose connection in the connectors or inthe IC mounts.Open and check on all connectors, look for possible dry soldering or loose joints inthe microprocessor section or in the mP section regulator supply.
Use a good solderring iron to solder all such suspected points.
test and repeat once again. Since the fault is intermittent, you will have to keep doing the soldering in the suspected sections and then trying to trial.
If the fault seems to wander, it might be an IC possible the memory,or the crystal in the processor.
Hope you check this out.

Has anyone come up with

I have searched all over the net for you, BUT have NOT been able to find anything at all sorry.
I fear that's because there are NONE. You will simply have to get an original remote, OR a learning remote possibly may work.
to get another original remote you simply contact Samsung head Office, and they will direct you to the relevant place to purchase one. Either that or try eBay etc.

No signal onthe screen

If you are connected to a high definition cable box or satellite tv box you would not need to turn to channel 3 on your television. The television would need to be in the right input either component or hdmi. If someone connected the tv to the cable box or satellite tv box with a coax cable like an antenna cable then the tv channels will be available on channel 3 as well but they will not display in high definition. You change channels with the cable box/satellite tv box remote control. If the above is not correct and you are only connected to an antenna cable and not to a cable box or satellite tv box you will need to complete a channel search from the tv menu. It sounds like you are using a cable box/satellite tv box and that the tv is on the wrong input. If the cable box/satellite tv box is not working (i.e. just a black screen) on your television than that is a different matter entirely.

HI, I have a Samsung

Hi, well I applaud you for wanting to have a go, but you must make sure that you are starting in the right place, and you have, That is The Power Supply, as, if, that isn't right nothing else can be. But, further, you simply cannot do anything without a Service Manual. The LED's do not tell us what is wrong, This is an old wives tale, I mean what if the fault was with that "Indication" was involved in the fault? Anyway the Service manual, well in this it has everything one needs to repair the set. Now some advice, OK if it is shutting down, after that amount of time, of working and then faulting, then it is most definitely a "Thermal" problem, the way we "Find" problems such as this is "Freeze Spray" you use this on each component that is suspected of being the "Culprit" and you will soon, find that errant component. Now also not every fault is a Capacitor, I see many, many people that think, that Capacitors are always the "Culprit" now while that may be true in a few cases, a faulty Electrolytic Cap, or ordinary, Cap goes faulty, this is only a SYMPTOM, something has damaged those caps causing them to "Fail". One MUST always find the root "Cause", otherwise if you just treat, the SYMPTOM, the "Cause" will just make the "Symptom" come back, in short order, as the prime cause still, hasn't been fixed., Now Capacitors hate AC ripple, or Over Voltage. Thats it. Oh.. and Heat, if these Capacitors, are too close to a Heat Source, then thats a prime cause of failure. Resistors, hardly ever go faulty, and if they do, it is generally obvious. However it doesn't hurt to check values with our Multimeter. Remember though resistors are made, with up to 20% tolerance from stated value, as such, are not too critical, unless in Timing circuits etc. Always check, the Values, of resistors, as with any other component, with the power OFF. Now Diodes especially "Zener Diode", are another thing to check, those and ordinary "Signal Diode" should always be suspect. next we have Transistors and IC's. The Transistors MUST ALL be checked to see if they have a good, "Junction" this is done, with our meter set to "Diode Test" and usually are about 0.6 to 0.7. With IC's you must check, voltage levels, or Logic Levels, going in and out, have a look at the circuit diagram, and it will tell you what they should be. It is a good idea to always measure the Power Supply voltages, see if a "Rail" is Low, that will be because some component has gone somewhat or all short circuit, to Earth, now, if the "Rail" is Higher, suspect an "Open Circuit" component, like a Diode, or Transistor. The voltages expressed in the manual are spot on, ANY variation MUST be investigated. I have been doing all this for over 30 years now, and I do indeed wish, we could have a set of "Symptoms" and be ables to say.. "Oh that;s the so-in-so and replace this" however unfortunately this although does happen, most "Symptoms" can have literally tens, of "Causes" all often "Interlinked" One simply has to do a methodical troubleshooting procedure, and always think, "are my Voltages Correct" as this is how, you Fix the problem, by making them so. Keep up the good work. If that link above doesn't furnish a Service manual, it is imperative you get one, even if you must pay for it. It will pay for itself in about 2 mins. The Tools you will need are A SERVICE MANUAL a Good Multimeter, a Signal generator, a Signal Tracer, pref an Oscilloscope, Soldering Iron, De-soldering iron, Probably, too, A SMT Hot Air desolderer (for the Surface Mount IC's) Air, An Anti-Static Wrist Strap, (MOST IMPORTANT, to prevent ESD), Cutters, Screwdrivers, sometimes, Torx, drivers too. Tweezers, are real handy, magnifying glass or eyepiece, a good strong Light. OH and you MUST have the original remote control too, as one needs this to "Program" the Computer in the TV, after, and during servicing, and to be able to put the TV, into "Service Mode" too.
So, thats about it, Also to remember that you are dealing with a unit, that can cause a fire, or an explosion, or both, this is not to be undertaken, lightly, for instance if one services a unit, and for whatever reason say, it caught fire, and burned, say, a house down, and heaven forbid, killed, someone, the REPAIRER of the UNIT is Criminally LIABLE, just a little point to remember, to ensure you ALWAYS DO A PROPER JOB.
it is my professional opinion though that everyone should take their units to their manufacturers approved service center, contacting a head office, of your unit & getting an approved service center is just SO important, even worth the extra to ship it, you see, at those places, the Engineers, are trained on the equipment you have, they usually have parts on hand, and do the job quicker. Anyway do that and get a "Quote". This way, at least, you'll know weather to repair or replace.

service manual, this is NOT the exact model it is just so you get an idea. The only ones I could find were pay for manual.
