Sansa needs arecovery tool

The Sansa Connect requires that you have Windows Media Player version 10 or later installed on your computer, in order to be recognized by your computer. If you already have WMP 10 or 11 installed on your computer, re-install it.

My MP3 player won't charge. What should I do?

Check that the Sansa's USB cable is tightly connected to both the Sansa and the computer/MP3 player charger. Also, make sure the computer is turned on and not in sleep/hibernation mode, or that the MP3 player charger is plugged into a working electrical outlet. Use a different Sansa USB cable to charge the player. A faulty USB cable will likely prevent the Sansa from properly charging. Connect the Sansa (via the player's USB cord) to different USB ports on the computer until the Sansa starts to charge. A weak or non-working USB port won't charge the Sansa.

Reset the Sansa MP3 player. Slide the player's "Power" switch all the way up to the "On" position. Hold the switch in that position for 20 seconds. The Sansa resets. Try to charge the player.

Install the latest firmware onto the Sansa MP3 player. Download the Sansa Firmware Updated (link in References), and then click the link in Resources for the specific model of Sansa you own to learn how to update the player's firmware http://download.cnet.com/sansa-firmware-updater/3000-2094_4-10907060.html or you will need to select another link http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=sansa%20e260%20firmware%20update&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&sqi=2&ved=0CDEQrAIoATAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Fforums.sandisk.com%2Ft5%2FSansa-e200-series%2FFirmware-Update-e260-4GB-Black-Sansa%2Ftd-p%2F144123&ei=NZdKUhope this helps

Can my sansa e260 hook up to ipod stuff

You can connect to anything through the headphone jack on the top of the unit. This will let you use iPod speakers and the like. Do NOT use the USB connector at the bottom to connect to iPod accessories; the pin-outs are different and will not work (in fact, they may cause damage).

Sansa audio book scramble

The Sansa orders tracks alphabetically. It goes by the track name encoded internally, not by filename. You can use Media Player or some other program to rename the track, then transfer them to the Sansa.
