Hi I have a Toshiba

Try doing a system restore to a point prior to your recent driver update if you have Windows 7. If you have Windows 8, you can rollback the driver without doing a system restore (going into Device Manager). If you need a driver update for your video card, go to that manufacturer's website or to the Toshiba website for your machine. Speccy or HWinfo are freeware programs that might help you identify video components. You might have to do an uninstall of the driver and then an installation of the proper one from the Toshiba site.

My bios is not laoding but we have no password

You'll need to take to the nearest authorized Toshiba repair facility;three copies of your proof of purchase receipt, drivers license, passport, living will, credit card, and three red Gummy Bears. Then the rep will obtain a Master password, and remove it.OH, I'M JUST KIDDING!!BIOS passwords are usually set by someone who doesn't want the computer accessed. Mostly by teenagers who think their info is Top Secret, lol!"1) Open modem and Wi-Fi Cover"From me; Wireless Module under Wi-Fi Cover looks similar to this,http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toshiba-Satellite-L15-L20-L25-M40-Wireless-G-WIFI-Card-/110524124060?pt=US_Internal_Network_Cards&hash=item19bbc04b9c2) "Remove Mini PCI Wi-Fi Card."From me;Basic example shown above in link. Note the two terminals, where the Wireless Antenna wires connect to. They MUST go back to the SAME terminals. Suggest make a mark on one terminal, and one wireless antenna lead connector. (Round 'eye' terminal)3) "Lift up the black plastic."From me: The black Mylar small sheet of plastic. Only lift so far, and the attaching glue will keep it in place, when you let go of it.This way the Mylar plastic small sheet can be reused.4) "Locate and short C738 Pin 1 and 2 together."From me;C738 is a Capacitor. VERY small in size. Should have C738 marked near it. It is under the black Mylar plastic sheet. There are two contact pins, or may be small rectangular, or square pads. There are Two.1 and 2.Take a metallic tool that just goes across from pin 1 to pin 2, and touch it to them.(Flat tipped Jewelers screwdriver? That's what I use)5) "Power on machine while still shorting Pin 1 and pin 2"From me; Keep the tool touching the two contact pads, or pins, and turn the laptop on.6) "As soon as the Toshiba logo appears, remove short"From me;As soon as you see the Toshiba logo come up on the LCD screen, remove the tool from the contact pads, or pins.7) "If machine boots, password has been removed."http://www.laptop-repair.info/toshiba_bios_password.htmlScroll page down.-> Tecra A4 and Satellite M40Regards,joecoolvette

My laptop toshiba satellite m40

Possible that PC is hanging up as there is fault on the OS ( operating system) . So open the internet options in the browser and clean all the cookies, temporary internet files, defragment the drives and RESTORE the PC to an earlier set date.

You can use a registry cleaner like Advanced system care. Download from the site and check you system for corrupt files. Also use a good antivirus software which is active to keep your system performing without an attack on the OS. Remove all unnecessary programs installed which you do not use all the time and clean up the drives. This will free up the space and make your system faster. If there is no response but the PC tends to work slower and occasionally hanging when a program is being executed then you might have to install the OS once again. Install the OS and then an antivirus before the drivers of the PC is installed.

Keyboard is not functioning properly. it repeats

Go in to the BIOS. That is by tapping F10 as soon as the notebook turns on. Tap certain keys that repeat usually when the windows is on. If you listen to two or three beeps for one key press then you might have to check with the key board. Try removing it and putting it back or maybe the connector went bad.
