Toshiba satelite a665-s5170 will not turn on
Computer does not boot upThe problem maybe the RAM, it is faulty or just needsreseating to make proper electrical contact.Reseat the RAM and then boot up your laptop. If it still does not boot up thenremove the RAM module/s and take them to your friendly computer repair shop andget them to test the RAM for you.Just like you sometimes need a mechanic to repair your car, sometimes you do need a technician to diagnose and identify the fault or faultson your computer. Not only does a good service technican have the experience todeal with this type of problem, they also have the equipment that allows themto look at things the average computer user can't see, and he has a collectionof replacement parts that can be used to quickly test individual components onyour computer.

My toshiba a 205-s5825 satellite wont power upo and no lights nothing
The problem is in the power supply adapter, or the dc jack in the laptop is loose, if you move the cord from the power adapter to the computer and it comes back on then it is more than likely the dc jack in the laptop that is attached to the motherboard. The remedy is to replace the dc jack or resolder the old one, in order to do this the computer must be taken apart down to the main board for service.

Graphic card
RAM can be located under the keyboard, or more commonly on the back will be a small panel with a picture of ram on it. The graphics or GPU is soldered on to the motherboard in most laptops and isn't replaceable. You would either need to buy a new motherboard $150-400 in most computers and replace it or buy a new computer.

My toshiba laptop will not turn on completely
It sounds like your machine is trying to boot off somewhere other than your hard drive such as a LAN. When you turn your machine on make sure you look hard and see what it says you have to hit in order to get into the Bios or System Setup. You want to go into it and make sure your boot order has your hard drive as the first option to boot from.
