My computer may have a virus.....it won't go past

Hi. Try to drain the electorstatic energy of the motherboard. Remove the battery and unplugged the power adapter. Press and hold the power button for 30 secs then put everything back in. Turn on the computer and see if you will be getting the screen. If screen wont show up then this is most likely an LCD problem.

I can't clear the bios password on Toshiba Te

Toshiba BIOS passwords cannot be removed by taking out the BIOS battery. You need to construct a piece of hardware.

TOSHIBA BIOS PASSWORD DONGLE

You can build a dongle that plugs into the printer port.
Purchase a 25 pin male D sub connector and solder insulated wires to the various pins as listed below. The pins are numbered on the connector

http://www.tilman.de/sonstiges/toshiba/dongle1.jpg this is a picture of the finished dongle

1-5-10,
2-11,
3-17,
4-12,
6-16,
7-13,
8-14,
9-15

Plug the finished dongle in the printer port and power up the laptop. The password will be reset, go into the BIOS configuration to check the BIOS password, you may have to disable the BIOS password.

Unable to format, partition, ins. os and boot my toshiba TE2100..

The CMOS needs to be set to first read the CD or DVD drive before it reads the Hard drive. Once your XP disk is in the drive it will boot from the CD drive and setup the computer, The CMOS is acessed by turning on the computer and immediatly pressing either the deleat key or the F! or F2 key try each one till you get to CMOS then look for boot section. Set CD drive to first your HD drive to second.

My computer is Toshiba TE2100. When I update

No, all you have to do is continue the installation anyways; it is not harmful. In fact the warning only says it may be harmful. And I have never seen a case where continuing the installation has caused a computer to malfunction. So it is safe to continue the installation of your audio driver.
