F5 code error after changing
Hi,
The F3 error you had is related to a faulty oven temperature sensor but can also be caused by a faulty ERC. The fact that you replaced the probe and the oven is now showing F5 indicates the ERC is shorted.
F5 Error indicates a problem with the clock assembly (also called ERC or electronic range control). This cannot be repaired and will need to be replaced.
Sometimes the F5 error will resolve by unplugging the oven from the mains (or tripping the circuit) for at least two minutes. If the problem persists the clock assembly is the key suspect.
See this link for diagrams of the machine and a cost on the clock assembly.

Code F-3 come on and oven shut off
Hi
Thanks
for using FixYa. Error code F2 means that the oven temperature sensor has
shorted and to resolve this issue you’ll have to replace the oven temp. sensor.
Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment

Oven takes 40 minutes to preheat
I think you may indeed have a leaking connection fitting, inside the Oven.
Below is your service manual, inside you will find troubleshooting steps to assist you to troubleshoot and hopefully remedy your issue.

However, in my professional opinion, I think, for safety reasons you should call a gasfitter and get them to look at your problem, it may need no more than a "lick of sealing, thread tape' but also it may not be. One shouldn't take chances when dealing with Gas. You did the right thing in turning it Off and not using it.

The problem is the igniter not reaching the correct amp draw .When the igniter does not reach the correct amp draw it may allow the gas valve to partially open or not open at all. The igniters are inexpensive and easy to replace. There is a video at http://appliancehelponline.com/gasoventroubleshootvideo.html this will walk you thru the correct procedure for performing this test. It may be a different model but the testing will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. Not all models are available. All parts come with installation instructions.

NO, I believe up to 4 hours the door is locked. Also, many people complain that after they do it, it mucks up.
Broiler works fine, oven will not come on ?
Check all fuses. Make sure the bottome element is seated properly. If the top and bottom element are the same you could always remove the top one and place it in the bottom (they usually just push-in and pull-out similar to the elements on the top of the stove) to see if it is just the element. A replacment element may be all you need.
Hope this helps
