How do you transfer songs from the computer to an

For an iPod you have to use iTunes and then click on the iPod on the left side and Sync it. For almost every other MP3 player you can use Windows Media Player. Open it and go to the Sync tab on the top. I like to use a playlist that I've created and Sync that to my MP3 player. The Coby might work different but almost all MP3 players can Sync with Windows Media Player.

Try going into the Menu on the Coby player and changing the MTP to MSC (I believe that format should work). The computer should then recognize it and work. Let me know how this works out for you.

It dont charge or turn on

was it washed? if it was you should have waited to try and turn it on. if it was wet same deal. if it was never washed or wet and its still having issues you have a major problem. even an error-ed mp3 player will respond to being plugged in. unfortunately short of calling in on a warranty or returning it for a replacement to the retailer you purchased it from there is not a lot that you can do. a dead battery would leave a player that will respond to being plugged in but will die upon unplug, and an error-ed one will do something when plugged in. does the PC recognize it? it could be a broken screen although them just dieing is rare. sorry if this doesn't answer your problem, but i hope it does.

How do I downloald songs on my new MP3

If you are downloading songs onto your player from Cd's that you have, you will first need to copy the music from your Cd's into a folder. Put all of your songs into your My Music folder. With some players, you can simply navigate to where your music is, right click on the file, select Copy, then navigate to where your player is and select paste.

Your player should be hooked up to your computer via your usb cord, which should have come with your player. If you are not sure where your mp3 player is on your computer, try going into My Computer. You should see something like Local Disk (C:), Removable Disk (F:) or Removable Disk (J:). My players usually show up in Removable Disk (J:). If you are lucky you will see the mp3 player file as soon as you go into My Computer. But if not, click on different removable files until you find yours.

Once you have found your player, click to go into it. You should see a list of folders. There should be one that says, Music. Go into that. Past the music file that you previously copied by right-clicking and selecting Paste. Your music file will transfer.

You can also transfer your music files via Windows Media Player. To do this, start up the Windows Media Player. At the top of the player you should see Now Playing, Library, Rip, Burn and Sync. Click Sync. If you have music already on your computer (everyone does) you will see the songs already on your computer. Select your song and then drag it over to where it says Sync List. Make sure your device is already connected to your computer! You should see your player in the Sync List. Then click the button that says Start Sync. Thats it!
