Constant tone when operating

Hi,
A constant beep usually indicates that there could be a loose card in the case, check that memory is seated properly, also check your graphics card and any PCI cards that are inside the case are seated properly.

Good luck

Cannot find optical drives

The IDE cable comes with 3 IDE plugs. The longer end goes into the motherboard. The two close together goes into the two dvd drives. If you take out the DVD drives, make sure that both are not set on master. At the rear of the drive where the power and IDE connects, there is one jumper that is in line with the letters C, S or M for Cable Select, Slave and Master, respectively. One of the drives should be set to master and the other as slave. Turn on the computer and you should be able to view both drives now. Let me know if this solves your problem. Lolita

Fic k7mnf-64 motherboard socket 462

Power is not going to the board. Check the power supply cables going to the board; most use a big 20 pin connector & a 2nd 4 pin connector. Make sure both are plugged into the proper spots then retry boot. Should see a green light on motherboard if power is properly set up. Hope this helps.
