How do I know which replacement lamp light to get
If you are able to remove the lamp that needs replacing you will be able to take it to Hitachi's authorised repair agent and they can order one for you. But in saying that the Hitachi authorised repair agent will know what lamp to replace it with. I hope this helps.

The red lights are on for the lamp and temp
Replace the lamp. Look in your manual and find the number for your lamp. Do a search on line, buy the original hitachi replacement. They last longer. Hope this is helpful

When i try and turn my tv on the power light
Hi, Does the set come on for about 30 sec.? I had a 50V715 hitachi, it came on for about 30 sec. then shut down and then it would repeat the process. After about 3 wks and alot of other pain, it turned out to be the lamp was weak. Replaced the lamp and all is great! So... it could be your lamp is going bad. Hope this is helpful.

My Hitachi Ultravision also makes the buzzing
From what I'm gathering on a search I found that this is an LCD rear screen projection TV. The issue you may be having is a problem with the lamp or the lamp Ballast. If you are able to remove the lamp and check it, my thought is that it has imploded. You may just need a new lamp.

Near the top of the tv the objects are double
Hi,it seems you are experimenting a light engine problem. This is how your tv works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLLHnQ4y-wo So basically the 3 Lcd chips that create the colors and image is going bad and thats why you get that color discoloration.Contact Hitachi or look for your light engine online.God bless you and your house!

Picture is fuzzy for the first few mins after turning on
This may be an issue with your color wheel where it isn't spinning up to speed at first but finally does after the 2 - 10 minutes. Fairly common in DLP TV's.
This could be fixed by a qualified Hitachi Servicer.

Three lights
My Thoughts is that you have a problem with your lamp. You should be able to take it out and see if it's blown/imploded or just needs to be replaced.

I have a hitachi-ultravision digital tv and there
I hate to tell you this but what is called a filter 'Analyzer or Polarizer that is positioned before the Blue's LCD panel is going bad or has a great amount of dust build up on it.
A Good TV Service with experience on these types of LCD TV's should be able to tell you what the cost of repair is.
Blessing,

We have a hitachi ultravision digital hdtv which
Unfortunately this is not a repair for the do it yourself. it requires the replacement of the optics block or sometimes called the light engine. The part number needed is UX25302 and runs over $800 dollars. I would suggest having a technician do the repair for you since it is a very complex set to tear down and replace the optics block. Please take a moment to rate my answer. Thanks..

The temp light is flashing. meaning the fan wont
I would first make sure that there is not a build up of dust clogging the fan, or air intake area. If the temp indicator comes on immediately, when the set is first turned, on then it is likely the fan itself, or related control circuitry has failed. If you can see the fan, simply look to see if the blades are rotating. If they are not, and you can access the fan, check for simple solutions. The fan should have a cable and plug - make sure the plug is seated fully. Check to ensure no wiring, or other obstruction, is preventing the fan from rotating. If the set runs for an extended period and does not shut down it is also possible there is defect in the fan/temp sensing circuitry. This would be more of an annoyance issue. There are fail safe circuits to turn off the unit if it gets too warm.
