Since the model indicated (55vg825) is a DLP which uses a lamp--it does sound like you have a damaged "optical light engine" which is a expensive repair---confirm model number to me and or Contact Hitachi about a possible recall or repair on that model.

a flux could cause bulb lead to come out of flux this is one thing that makes it shake

Bad digital board.

I would say you need to replace the lamp.. check to see if the lamp light by the power button is blinking. If so that's your problem.

You can get most remote controls simply by sending your model number of the set to [email protected] they answer quickly and they have thousands of remotes but only list the most popular on the website.

Make sure your devices hooked up to it still work (or are turned on). If it has a menu and you can change the inputs, its probable that your T.V. is fine.

The issue you describe is consistent with a power supply board issue. This is the board where the AC goes to. This problem may have occurred as a result of irregular power supply, or excess power supply or power surge

THE PROBLEM YOU ARE HAVING IS THE OPTICAL ENGINE IS BAD, AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THE PART IS NOT CHEAP, BUT CAN BE FOUND REFURBISHED.

98% CHANCE what you have is a bad optical light engine.

Sets which use a lamp for the light source have a optical light engine, it is L shaped and the lamp shines into it-----heat from the lamp can cause separation of the lens/prisms inside the light engine.

Not good news as the engine is the most expensive part in the set--if you have an extended warranty--DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT RIGHT NOW--if no warranty you will likely be better (and cheaper) to replace the set than repair it.

It is the bulb, fuze, power board, or video processing board. Only the bulb or a fuze is user replaceable. All others you should seek out a qualified service tech.
