Microwaves must be serviced by technicians due to the inherent dangers involved in repairing these appliances. Internal capacitors can retain a lethal electrical charge even though the unit is completely unplugged. A microwave radiation leakage test must be performed on the unit following any internal component repair.

My problem is the handle
Hello,
To remove the handle, you will be needing a flat-head screwdriver and Phillips screwdriver.
Having got the above tools, follow the instructions below:
Step 1:
Disconnect power to the microwave. Simply unplug from the wall or turn off the breaker in your fuse box.
Step 2:
Open the microwave door. With the flat-head screwdriver, pry off the plastic panel from the inside of the door. Be careful not to break the panel in the process. The two screws securing the door handle to the microwave are located behind this panel.
Step 3:
Unscrew the two screws securing the door handle, then remove the handle.
Align the screw holes on the new door handle to the screw holes on the
door, then insert the screws and secure the new handle.
Step 4:
Snap back the plastic panel into place, then restore power to the microwave.
Make sure you follow the above instructions closely, and you won't have any problem.
For further assistance, please let me know:
Regards.

How high should the bottom
I would say at a reasonable safe height. There is no requirement by the machine governing that measurement.

When i start my microwave
You perhaps have too many large appliances running on one particular circuit. Try unplugging everything you aren't using (coffee maker, toaster, etc) and if that doesn't work, I would suggest contacting an electrician to evaluate the circuits in your kitchen. You could also replace high wattage appliances for smaller ones, say a 750W microwave,

Maytag Model MMC5000BDB microwave, clock works but
It sounds like the magnetron may have
either failed or is not being supplied with the extremely high
voltage required to run it.
YOUR
SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT
This is a job for a professional but if
you are safety clued up, here's instruction.
Make sure the
!!!!capacitor is discharged!!!!! before attempting any
sort of repair.
Check the door interlock switches first then the
high voltage diode with either an AVO model 8 or moving coil meter on
high resistance range for short circuit, (DVM's won't show the
fault!), the capacitor can fail and go short circuit, the feed fuse
on the primary of the high voltage transformer and then finally, the
magnetron is best checked by substitution.
Hope that helps.
Load
test.
A
simple safety test.
Place 1/2 litre of water in a glass container.
Measure the temperature of the water.
Place in microwave and heat
on full power for 1minute.
Measure the temperature after it has
stood for 1minute.
If the temperature difference is more than 9
degrees Celcuis the magnetron is working and producing about 700Watts
of heat.
If your microwave is labelled with 900 or 1000Watts. That
is about right.
If the temperature is less then the magnetron is
not working properly and may need replacing.
This
a only a rough guide and any doubts you should consult an authorised
service agent.

Need a manual
If you were to log on to the
manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as
usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer
Instruction Manuals, and a list
of Dealers for spare parts, as required.
Just Google the manufacturer's name and
follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's
web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they
charge for the information that is normally free of charge.
I
hope this helps.

Will run, but wont heat..
The magnetron is what makes a microwave heat. The megnatron can go bad causing no heat but let the rest of the unit work just fine.
partselect, com and daysappliance are excellent sites for parts, prices, diagrams, and more.
