Hi ancheta25 ,
Thank you for your question at Fixya,
The solution to your problem is as follows :-
First of all , I would recommend you to format the drive once after you backup your song files.
- Then try loading the files once again , if that does not work , try formatting the drive with a different format , for e.g. FAT32 , this option you will find when you connect your drive via the MASS storage mode through a cable and then right click and then select format option.
- When you have formatted your drive with this other format, make sure you copy the files back and then try testing it.
- If that does not work then what you can do , is try limiting the number of songs, in one particular folder , for e.g. Put 10 files in one folder and the other 10 in the other folder, this could give you an idea as to how the file system is made up, and then you can copy the files accordingly.
Hope that helps ...:) In case you have any queries, feel free to contact me.

There are three solutions for this, depending on your situation.
#1 - Check if your flash drive has a "Hold" or "Lock" switch. Some flash drives have very small switches on them. If they are in the wrong position, the computer will give you a 'write protection' error.
#2 - The drive may have read-only properties. To undo this, go to My Computer, right-click on the thumb drive, and select properties. Untick the "Read-Only" box.
#3 - If all else fails, you an perform a format within Windows. Go to the Control Panel, and select Administrative Tools, then Computer Management. Select your flash drive from the list and select the reformat option.

There is a reset button on the device, press it to reset the device. Check the batteries, and make sure they are in correctly, and have a full charge. If that does not work, then you are looking at a more serious issue and may need to replace the device.
