Microwave is not heating but everything esle

It sounds like the magnetron may have either failed or is not being supplied with the extremely high voltage required to run it.

YOUR SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT

This is a job for a professional but if you are safety clued up, here's instruction.
Make sure the !!!!capacitor is discharged!!!!! before attempting any sort of repair.
Check the door interlock switches first then the high voltage diode with either an AVO model 8 or moving coil meter on high resistance range for short circuit, (DVM's won't show the fault!), the capacitor can fail and go short circuit, the feed fuse on the primary of the high voltage transformer and then finally, the magnetron is best checked by substitution.
Hope that helps.

Have MMV4205BAW18 with a main control relay

W10181450 is the part number of the whole circuit board, not just the relay.

That board runs $130.74 and you can order it from the Pros here.

The attached photo shows where the two cook relays (RY01 high power and RY02 low power) are on your circuit board.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

You can contact us via our site with the numbers on your relay, and we may have one or more available.

Whirlpool / Maytag does not make relays available, one has to get them from third-party suppliers by the relay manufacturer's number.

Or we can repair your control panel assembly for you for $39.95. Details are here.

Let us know if we can help further.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Sorry to read about your problem.
It seems your have a general failure in the power control or switch failure on the unit. if you unit has power, and things lite. it is more likely you have a control/switch problem,

Maytag Microwave OTR MMV4205BA just

Hi, on the Maytag MW oven, it is possible that one of two things is hapenig:
One would be an erratic door latch switch, that might be cutting the power to the control panel(digital display)and that is why the panel kind of does the power reset, but I am more inclined to a control panel that is starting to loose one of its components, the fact itself that you can set a lower power level for cooking and the oven goes through the cycle normally is a sure indicator that the control panel is involved. Out of the two possibilities the switch is the most economic. Both the switch and the control panel are available from www.partsclinic.com, just type in your model number in the search window, and a full list of available parts and pictures are displayed. I hope this helped and good luck.

Maytag mmv 4205 microwave, plugged in but no power

Check the house circuit breaker to see if it has tripped or the internal line fuse and see if that is blown.

Microwave has no power, no lights, nothing at all.

unplug the oven, remove the cabinet if you feel confident in doing this. next, follow the cord from the microwave's cabinet input and look for a fuse. Little round rectangular tube. It is about a half to 3/4 inch long. look on the fuse, it will have a rating like 3a/120v or 5a/120v what ever it is, replace it with the correct value. remember MAKE SURE THE CORD TO THE OVEN IS UNPLUGGED AND USE ONE HAND TO REMOVE IT USE A PAIR OF NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS, MAKE SURE OTHER HAND IS IN YOUR POCKET. After replacing fuse, and putting case to oven back on
Plug it back in, turn on the power and try the oven. if nothing happens then take to a repair center. remember before going inside after cover is off, power off, hand in pocket and touch nothing else only the fuse. if you don't feel confident with this , take the oven to a repair shop. probably fuse is blown. good percentage of ovens are thrown out because no one knows this.
