My LG art cool a/c blades in the vent arent
In some models, there are swing and sweep motors. Swing will work the vent up and down. Sweep or air flow motor will work for louvers left to right. If sweep motor not works replace the motor. If no sweep motor option, you have to direct by manual only. Be care ful, when you are doing manually, switch of the unit. Thanks.
How topup gas
Depends on what refrigerant is in the system. This is not something you can do yourself either way due to the fact that an EPA license is required to purchase any type of refrigerant besides R-134A. You are going to have to have an HVAC contractor do it because you also need a set of manifold gauges and know what they are telling you. By the time you purchase all of this it will be cheaper to hire it done and hooking up to the wrong line could cause the refrigerant canister to explode.

First of all confirm where the sound comes from whether from Indoor or out door. If from indoor, the blower bearing worn out/ blower wheel broken.
If from out door, fan blade broken (replace fan blade)/compressor internal sound(replace compressor)/compressor seating bush worn out.(replace new bushes).

Indoor unit coil sensor fault. Disconnect from PCB measure resistance. 10 kOhm at 10C and 4 kOhm at 30C. if not replace sensor
My split system was working
Before calling a repairman, check your self by a volt meter.Confirm power is there in your indoor unit.If there green or red light in the unit displayed or not. If yes, try with your remote. If not check your PCB for fuse blown. Replace the fuse and check again.
Indoor unit display light and no work by your remote means communication error between your remote and unit. Try with other remote. If o.k. replace your remote. If not, problem with PCB receiving sensor. Repair it. Thanks and hope it's helpful?

Comms Error, check your wiring, remove external pumps. Split/Multi - check volts from terminal N to 3 = 0 - 65 Vdc, Multi V - 4 Vdc terminals 3 and 4

If it closes few seconds, it's indoor coil sensor problem.Replace new sensor. If it closes within few minutes, No communicationbetween indoor and outdoor. Check PCB.

Compressor is not turning on
Check your temp setting 23 and less for Cool mode and 29 and plus for heat mode(RV type).And then wait for 3 minutes. Check power goes to Outdoor unit my volts meter.
Still no start compressor, Power off, and then remove wires from compressor terminal, check all terminal for ohms.between any 2 terminal. If any reading, your compressor is o.k. And also check with grounding and any terminal, if reading your compressor is grounded and you have repair/replace the compressor.

This a probably a bad capacitor in either the compressor or outdoor fan. test the capacitor on the outdoor fan unit, it is most likely bad and will need to be replace, that is the cause of the problem, the capacitor on the outdoor fan will need to be replaced. doing this, should fix the problem.

The indoor split system is
There should be a drain pipe to send the condensed moisture outside. Take the cover off the unit and check where the tray is and unblock the pipe.

you can not put a life span on a capacitor but for your condenser/maintenance is the main thing to prolong life you your unit they must be cleaned and tuned up regularly
