LCD Screen dead

This may be a dumb idea... but did you accidentally turn the screen off? Don't ask how I know this...

Stopped working

This may sound dumb... but I'm an electronic tech, and to this day I STILL put the damn batteries in wrong :) This model is labeled VERY poorly in regards to battery position.

Locked card

What do you mean "locked"? Did you accidentally slide the "lock" tab on the card itself? Also, these cameras are VERY picky with memory cards. They can cause numerous errors, and cause the camera to shut itself off for no reason.

Uploading pictures

Well, how I know is you install them on your computer, put the picture in paint, save it, goto a uploading website E.g. photobucket, then "Browse" and select what you saved it as, then you have the picture, and code you put on myspace.

View finder

I had the same problem, it is the switch inside that is broken which allows you to switch back and forth between viewing pictures and taking them. There isn't really a fix besides getting the switch replaced and I am having a very hard time trying to find parts for mine. Good luck.

Camera goes on, red light, then goes off

If the lens does not extend then the problem is that the focus element inside the lens has gotten stuck. This is a common issue on this model of camera. If you are mechanically inclined you can remove the front lens cover and front optic giving you access to the secondary optic (this is the focus element). There is a tab of plastic which is easy to grasp with fine tipped pliers, simply grasp it and tug very gently. Turn the camera on and the element should begin moving normally again. If you are not able to do this, or do not have a fine tip screw driver and pliers you can take it to a camera repair shop and give them this information. They should be able to do the procedure for you for a small fee. If the lens does extend, then this is not the problem and I am unsure how to address your problem.

How do I clear pictures off the memory card?

The best way to remove all pictures from the memory card is to format it. This wipes all data from the card and prepares it for further use.Without knowing the model of your K-M camera I can't give you the exact procedure for formatting the card, but there should be a command somewhere in the menu system, probably under "Setup".
