Just bought a lexar sdhc
The camera will not recognize that large of a card. You may be able to download a firmware upgrade from Nikon, but probably only a 2-4 gig will work in your camera.

Where to find CCD for camara NIKON COOLPIX S2
This isn't really going to be that cost effective. I haven't tried buying one for that camera but most simple and what you would think should be cheap repair parts will end up costing as much as a new camera does. For example the plastic drive gears for the camera will cost almost as much as the camera.
You can order the parts through Nikon or one of its repair depots. That can be a bit of a annoying thing as you are not a certified repair person so some will not sell to you. Unless there are special circumstances if the camera is not under warranty then just replace it.
My flash stopped "flashing"
I found the answer and fixed my flash. Look on http://photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00ODWf
This
will describe how, if you have been using a speedlite alot, than the
little tab under the shutter release side of the hot shoe can get bent
down thus constantly pressing down (toward the bottom of the camera)
the small button which deactivates the
pop-up
flash even when the speedlite is not attached. Just bend the tab up a
little with a jewler's screwdriver, turn the camera off and on and
voila!! Fixed!!! Dan describes pushing the tab down, but on the xti,
the tab needs to be bent up to release the flash deactivation switch
and fix the problem. Thanks to Dan D on photonet for saving me a
service call.
Drivers

Replace the Camera.
This is a mainboard problem- possibly only a connector worked loose
Sometime gentle squeezing of the camera cace at the base under the screen or gentle slapping in the palm oh hand may induce a re connect.
But essentially this is not going to get repaired
Cant take any pictures
the Shutter or some assicated components is shattered.
This may be a repair situation at Nikon- but if you have had the camera for some time I suspect you will be buying another camera.
My flash isn't working!
Not a repairable situation here - the camera is a single piece.
Nikon Technical Support will advise further.
