Try another card in your camera but check the inside the card holder that you have not got a damaged connector in there. and format the card with the camera and not on pc. Hope that help you.

Are you using a USB cable to the computer or a SD card reader??  If you are using a cable, then buy yourself a USB card reader and it might work then.

So you can't get the videos on the computer at all?
Or you can get them on there but they won't read properly?

Go to the playback menu, scroll down to the option <copy>. It might be in the Setup menu, but I do believe it's in the playback, copy, OR playback, Setup, copy. have card in camera.

I took my camera apart again to show you a picture of it. The yellow arrows show the position where they used to be. The screws are next to the camera on the table.

I've seen a few online posts about this while I was looking for answers because the same thing is happening with my w10. It's just over a year, and when I turn it on it seems like it is trying to start up, does a couple of beeps, and then powers down.

It's too bad, I LOVED this camera, and have since bought a sony which I detest, but if this is common I can't afford to be replacing the pentax every year. very sad.

If you read the reviews on A10 it has something like 1.73 seconds shutter lag, which is very slow to some other cameras with only 0.3 shutter lag. Redeuce the pixels to 6mb. Also a weak battery and maybe a under performing m.card add to your camera seem to be slower usual.

First of all try the Pentax web site Technical support line. also when fire it up press the battery compartment door shut it may be tired contacts. But it looks like a repair job is needed- or it it is getting on a bit - replacing

U need the vists compatible drivers for it !!

I think this has to do with the video format and/or version of Quicktime being used in the camera vs the PC.
I have no clue on a mac but I experienced similar on certain Win-dohs OS's some time ago.
I'm not sure it's a defect so much as a compatibility issue...
Try playing the videos on a Win-dohs machine with late OS.

Hi. Your camera is too old to accept that big a card. The camera will let you know what size it will accept. Just keep putting larger sizes until it stops. Hope that helps.

The green light only means the memory card is getting power. That nothing else comes on indicates a serious problem that requires a trip to your local camera shop for help.
