It is possible thatthe camera is not able to draw power from the battery. Possible reasons include dirty battery contacts on the camera or the power draw circuit itself is damaged. I use crv3 batteries in my Pentax istD. Believe it or not, they last over a year! Keep in mind that the simple act of testing the voltage of a crv3 will shorten its life. Have you tried cleaning the battery contacts in the camera with a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol? Sometimes, an invisible film on the contacts forms and gives a false reading of battery life.

i had the same problem all you gotta do is buy duracell rechargable batteries with the duracell charger and u will be able to take more pics!!

i had exactly the same problem with this camera and i tried in many places to find out how to fix it. Everywhere price for fixin was more than 100 bucks,so...teh best solution is to buy new camera.buddy!

Hi. Your camera is too old to accept that big a card. The camera will let you know what size it will accept. Just keep putting larger sizes until it stops. Hope that helps.
