Polaroid izone 550W Digital Camera Questions & Answers
Flash detail
Use the right arrow button on the arrow pad. There is a little pic of a lighting bold beside a pic of a camera on the top left hand corner. Push the right arrow button and look at that lightning bolt you will see it changing. There are three different ones. One has a ling through it and that means no flash on had an "A" on it that stands for automatic and then you will see just a pic of the bolt without anything. Not to sure what means either. Hope this helps.
What is the capacity sd card for a polaroid izone
izone 550W has 16MB own internal memory. In addition it takes SD-cards. I'd say since it's quite a new model it'll handle at least 8GB card which is more than adequate (over 2000 frames on highest resolution)
Photos on camera card
If you hit the button with the green playback, it should show you all pictures on your camera, even the ones on the card.
Camera remains on, with green light
i think i got a fix!!! tyere is a small opening next to the white toggle button, between >> arrows and below the /set .be careful and push a small object like the end of a tiny paper clip etc... this will reset the camera!!this worked!
SD Protected???
pop out the SD memory card. look for a tiny switch (lever) on the card and move it to the other position (the position that does not say "lock") and try again
Help!!!!!!!!!
Check out the manual i posted. it gives ya step by step directions.
Izone 550 senses SD card, but won't accomodate or write to it...
I would suggest the format option in the menu. i posted the manual it gives step by step getting to the format option. if it works on one but not the other even after formatting in problematic camera. I would suggest getting a different brand/size. There's a 1gig liimit, but i am currently using a panasonic 2 gig and it seems to be working at its stated size. Although i haven't filled it to see if any problems occurr.
Hope this helps.

You may want to check with Polaroid to see if there's a service advisory pertaining to faulty CCD chips that effect LCD operation. Most camera manufacturers got a bad batch of these chips and are repairing them at no cost.
Another option is to reset your camera and use recommended batteries.
