Frigidare Ultra Quiet III Dishwasher won't drain

I have had my mobile dishwasher for about 3 years now. It recently was having problems draining out all the water that collects in the bottom of the machine. I hook it up to the sink and plug in the power and attempt to run a normal cycle, but when I go back after the cycle is complete there is tons and tons of water in the bottom of the machine still. I have had to manually remove the water, cup by cup in order to remove it all. I used to be able to put it on another cycle and it would drain all the water out, but now it won't even drain during the drain cycle anymore. My B/F is a licensed plumber and he did some investigating into the problem and we found that the motor still runs and kicks on at the right time, but no water comes out of the hose. Please help me fix this problem so I can go back to using to wash dishes, rather than hold the clean ones I had to hand wash.
Thanks,
Bridget

To properly drain and clear out any clogs in a dishwasher: 1.Take a wet/dry vacuum, remove the paper air filter (usually just a screw) from the inside of the vacuum body 2. Empty out the vacuum body prior to using it.  3. Then **** out all of the water from the inside basin/tub.  4. Before you turn off the vac, lift the hose high into the air and make sure all of the water is sucked into the vacuum to prevent any water still in the tube from making a mess.  5. Dump that water. This will provide you an opportunity to remove excess water before you get to work.
Next, under the sink there you will see your drain, just above your drain you will see a black or transparent tube about 1" in diameter.  6. Unscrew the tube screw.  7. Get your vacuum hose and hold it near the tube. When you take off the tube, there may be, though likely not, some excess water in the tube. **** this up if needed.  8. Put the vac hose onto the tube and make an air tight seal with your hand over the hose and tube.  9. Turn on the vacuum and such out any clogs.  10. Turn on your dish washer and let it run for a minute or two to get water back into the tub.  11. Open the door, there should be about 1-2" of water in the tub.  12. Hit the cancel button and let the water pump out of your tub, be sure to hold the vacuum hose over the tube and **** out all the water with the asistance of your dishwashers pump.  13. Repeat steps 8-12 2-3 times. You should notice water will no longer remain in the tube when you fill it up, & press the cancel button because the machine will pump everything out for you. Once you have done this and the water pumps out without a problem you have fixed your clog.
14. Reattach the tube to the drain using the tube screw. 15. Dump the water from the vacuum down the drain. 17. Clean up and put your vacuum away. 16. Put the $95 into your savings account because you likely just fixed your clog in under 45 min. from start to finish.
I hope this helps!

I have a similar problem with my Frigidaire FDB4050LHS1. My Owner's Manual says to contact the Customer Care Center if the display shows "Er", "uF", or "CE". When I called them, Maria didn't have a clue what the codes meant - all she could do was give me phone numbers to authorized service centers in my area.

I managed to get ahold of a "SERVICE DATASHEET" P/N: 154718601. The error code "ER/ER" means there is a "switch failure"; "ER/CE" denotes a "Configuration Error"; "ER/uo" means "Vent will not close"; and "ER/UF" means "Fan not running".

The schematic only labels three switches - labeled "USER INTERFACE SWITCH", "DOOR SWITCH", and "FLOAT SWITCH". There is also a switch in the pump motor assembly. If either the door or user interface switch is faulty, then you probably won't be able to do anything other than call a repair service - unless you know how to replace these switches yourself.

If the float switch is causing the error, you might be able to run the "Water/Service Test". From "PF" (denoting a Power Failure) or idle mode (with no lights on whatsoever), press and hold the "DRY/AIRDRY" and "START/CANCEL" buttons at the same time for 3 seconds. This will start an 8-stage test that runs for about 7 and 1/2 minutes. The display will show which step the test is in until it shows an error code. Step 1 tests the water valve, which is where the float switch is located. If that switch is bad, you will likely see "Uo" displayed within the first minute of the test.

Replacement Door Panel for GE Profile Dishwasher

Are you trying to replace the microwave door or the GE dishwasher. Either way, www.applianceart.com (under the stainless steel section) has this roll of stainless material that you apply to your appliances. I saw it on the "Today Show." Its basically faux stainless. We put it on our refrigerator and it looks and even feels like real stainless steel. Its really cool. I think its called stainless foil or something like that. Also if you're looking for a stainless panel for your dishwasher they sell actual stianless panels there too.

DISHWASHER SHOULD NOT BE ON A GFI CERCIUT. THATS YOUR PROBLEM . SHOULD BE A DEDICATED CERCIUT BUT IF NOT JUST INSTALL A REG OUTLET DONT WORRY THE DISHWASHER WILL TRIP THE BREAKER IN YOUR PANEL IF THERE IS A SHORT WITH THE WATER.

Hello friend, thanks for your inquiry!

On your Frigidaire dishwasher "i30" stands for aqua control. You should perform a reset on your dishwasher and that could clear any false error codes. To reset your dishwasher you can flip the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes. If that does not work you could be experiencing an issue with your water inlet valve or control panel. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt
