whats the make and model. maybe something from on of the inside soap door area cant look up diagram without the make and model .will try ok

there has to be a short in the wiring check and make sure that the wires are connected correctly "White to White, Black to Black and Green to Green the green is the ground"

Possibly food blockage. You can try shooting some air under pressure into the fill hole to blow it free. A simple shop vac on "blow" may be enough if you do not have a small compressor. Other possibility is the exhaust going into the garbage disposal is blocked so that the water cannot exhaust and any amount added floods the unit. (first item is most likely). Jim

Aeg 8081iM "CE" fault.. Fixed it! :) wax valve looks like it got water in it, blew the controlling triac on the main board and fried a track on the board. Bought a new wax valve, installed it. Got a quote for a new board...too much($600Aud+ I'd buy a new one If I had to pay that)...Found a dead machine which had a blown transormer but good board, so played swapsies with the transformers on the main board. Fixed the source of the leak, switched it on and started washing the dishes! :) Now have a $30 spare parts machine for the experience! :)

check pcb board sounds like its blown something

Broken drive belt?

try to reset program..... hold off button for 2 seconds or so..... until it turns completely off.... it this won't help, try to disconnect it from outlet..... wait few minutes,... connect it back to wall and try again

Sounds like the advance timer un plug and wait a few hours should reset itself, good luck
