After my stove runs about two cycles, it shows E E 2. we relight and it ignites and then shuts back down with the error message. The tank is full, no air in the fuel line or filter. suggesations?

Has this unit been serviced. Sounds like the Flame Sensor is dirty and not sensing flame OR this actually isn't any flame due to an ignitor or fuel issue. Here is a complete explanation and diagnosis of the EE2 problem: Toyostove Error Code EE2

How do I fix the fan?

The fan's power comes from a multi output transformer.
Either the fan is burned out or the transformer is burned out or the fans moles plug is not plugged in properly.A simple voltage spike or brownout can take out the transformers.

How do I clean the combustion air intake?

If you are talking about between the outside and the gray flex pipe, remove the pipe and blow the stuff back outside. If it is beyond the gray flex pipe, then a disassembly will be necessary. To prevent further entrance of anything, debris / bugs to either the intake or exhaust, see my modification to the intake/exhaust pipe here: Thread Toyostove Exhaust Bug Shield .

WHY WOULD THE BURNER GASKET AND IGNITER GASKET BE DRENCHED IN FEL ON TOYO 73, COULD THIS ALSO BE THE CAUSE F NO FLAME IN CHAMBER WINDOW WHEN I TRY TO FIRE IT UP?

If you have too much fuel in the burn pot then you are getting no ignition. Repeated tries to get it to start just dumps more fuel into the pot.

Burns orange?

Could be orange for a few reasons could just be burning some dust or something in the air. if it keeps staying orange i would say that it has a cracked heat exchanger and the fan is disrupting the flame.

Toyostove Laser 73 heater will not run, and the low/med/hi lights flash on and off?

Remove front grille by taking out two screws at lower right and left front sides of stove. slightly pull botom front of grille toward you and lift up and off. Look for two red wires going into burner chamber, the wires will be incased in a gray plastic sheath as they enter chamber. Push on buton like you are trying to start the heater. While it is going through start up process hold the gray plastic sheath with two fingers and see if the sheath does not get warm in a short period of time the igniter is bad and will need to be replaced. This can be cause by water getting into the burner chamber and causing the igniter to crack.

Cleaning instructions

Dirt is the biggest enemy of your furnace. It can waste fuel and drastically lower efficiency. Dirt affects all three basic components of your furnace, so cleaning is the most important part of regular maintenance. The three parts of the furnace should be cleaned: the filter system, the blower, and the motor.

The furnace filter should be replaced or cleaned at the beginning of the heating season and about once a month during periods of continuous use. To check the filter, take it out and hold it up to the light. If it looks clogged, replace it with a new filter of the same type and size regardless of the length of time it has been used.

Step 4: Clean blower assembly, belts and pulleys to blower, and motor housing. Cleaning blower is critical if furnace has a squirrel-cage fan, because openings in this type of blower often become clogged with dirt. To clean blower, remove panel that covers filter to gain access to blower or panel on front of furnace. This panel may be slip-fit on hooks or held by series of retaining screws. Access to inside of blower is usually gained by sliding out fan unit, which is held on track by screws.

If power cord to fan assembly is not long enough to permit fan unit to slide all the way out, disconnect cord. Mark wire connections first so you'll be able to reassemble unit correctly. With toothbrush, clean each fan blade and spaces between blades. Then, with vacuum cleaner hose, remove all dirt and debris loosened by brushing. Vacuum belts and pulleys. Wipe motor housing clean to prevent heat buildup in motor.

I have a toyostove Laser 73. i have fuel leaking from the reset knob and rubber grommet on the fuel sump. is there a rebuild kit for the fuel sump available?

It looks like the posted answers do not address your issue. If fuel is leaking at your sump and vent, shut the small fuel valve inside the stove off (reverse threads )and and drain your fuel sump. Once drained, open the fuel valve and if it floods again, you have a bad float. If not, the red "reset" button was either pushed down multiple times or held down. This causes a flooding problem. That should cure your problems.

How should I ship a delicate package?

I would suggest that you make a special box for it but it entails a lot work right? I might as well recommend that you browse E Corrugated. They have a wide range of boxes and cases for shipping. You may find something there that suits your requirements. They are a manufacturer of boxes and cases specially designed for shipping whether overseas or locally. You can talk to a staff of the company with your requirements and surely they will have something for you. You also label your box with 'upside down' and 'handle with care' or 'fragile' to ensure that the carriers will know it and ensure that your package is in good hands. Talk to the carrier about it and know how they ship it without being damaged.

MY LASER 73 IS DISPLAYING ee 8 i BELIEVE THIS TO BE A BLOWER PROBLEM WHERE MAY I FIND A TECHNICIAN TO FIX THIS PROBLEME

Yes it is a motor issue. They frequently quit turning after sitting a while. Remove the heat exchanger and vacuum out the exhaust side of the blower motor. Use a dental pic if you have one and gently clean the impeller fins. Vacuum it again, then lightly spray impeller with water, and vacuum often. When impeller is clean, reassemble and your stove will start. ( This is assuming you were able to turn the impeller when you cleaned it) Thanks and good luck
