I have an ATI radeon X1300 Low Profile 256mg PCIe
Your computer should be able to handle the graphics card with no problem.
The only issue that comes up is how many hard drives or CD Rom drives are attached to the system.
If everything is stock out-of-the-box, you are OK.
I hope that this helps.

Please follow the below steps and fix your problem.
1. Unplug nic card or modem from net or disconnect
2. Remove ATI driver from add/remove programs then remove the control panel from add/remove programs
3. Reboot into safe mode (F8 during boot up)
4. On reboot into safe mode Win XP SP1/SP2 will auto detect and install
drivers. Just let it do its thing. If you can cancel out of the auto
install hardware wizard then skip the rest and run Driver Cleaner! If
you can NOT cancel out of auto detect wizard then...
5. Navigate to device mgr->display adapter->uninstall and/or remove ATI display adapter but do not reboot
6. Disable any Anti Virus Software (If you don't disable is than it could give trouble)
7. Run Cab Cleaner (not needed, but recommended)
8. Run Driver Cleaner
9. Empty recycle bin and reboot
10. Install the new drivers and control panel
Hope the above information will be helpful to you.
Thanks.
My screen goes off after so many minutes of use.
click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f which will repair any bad sectors and automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive then defragment your hard drive then you might try control panel, display settings advanced there are lots of tabs you can select troubleshoot, overlay, color, color management,displays,etc..... (in xp)
hope this helps
I cant play nba 2K9! when i launch the game my
It goes black because the monitor you are using does not support the resolution you are trying to force through it from the video card. Start at 1024 X 768, if the screen shows on the monitor than that is a good start. If it doesn't then I would suggest getting on the manufacturer's web site and downloading the latest drivers. I'm pretty sure you are dealing with a driver issue.
Im running an ATI Radeon x1300/1550 pro graphics
- does it work properly when u disable the online game feature (play the same game without just on your PC or in LAN-session)
-goto network connections and disable every connection available besides the one u use for internet access
(as u can wire up video cameras
to the card via the 1394/port, this port may have been recognized as network adaptor in windows, this might cause IRQ problems and as u do not use it, it is wise to disable it)
retry now the online game / if stil the prob, came back to fixya!
good luck
I need help :)

Hi,
To my thinking, your concern would largely be dependent on the Screen Resolution setting of the PC. It may be that the screen resolution be initially lowered down to the lowest possible.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Can you open your computer and check if the videocard fan is still running? Or if the CPU fan is running. It is probably caused by an overheating videocard. Remove the card and free dust from it. put some oil in it. If you can afford, replace the fan with a better one. If you are knowledgeable, put extra chassis fan and position it to maximize airflow
Getting a digital connection to my Monitor
I would right down the specs and go to a computer store or a radio shack and ask, usually they have them but they may also refer you to some other store if you ask them, if they cant help you that is. usually the stores that Buy and trad eand selll and have inventorys of used parts, will have alot of adapters on hand like VGA to DVI and what not.
