7700 pinoeer deck

It's probably too late, but Walmart, Taget and other stores sell the connection kits for most model vehicles, for under $20 bucks. Sounds to me like you had a short in your connections . Soldering is a pain in the ****, but it's the best way to go when doing car audio wiring.

Display is not working

First try cleaning your faceplate contacts with a q-tip and some alchohol while the power is off. if this is not it you may need a new ribbon cable that connects the face to the main unit. try pacparts.com or pioneer parts or even ebay for the part.

Car battery died, radio wont turn on anymore

Have you checked the fuse at the back of the head unit. You will need to extract the head unit from the slot. There is a small blade fuse near to where the wiring harness connects to the back of the unit. Check it to see if it has blown. It normally is a red 10amp fuse.
Also check your main fuse board.

Hope this helps

6 dsc changer stock radio 99 ford explorer cddj error

I've had GREAT success by resetting the changer. Try unpluging the changer with the power ON, wait a few, then plug back in. It's not hard to remove. Can I assume that you did NOT misload or install any CD' upside down? If not, then proceed with a reset. Can you eject the magazine? If so, proceed with reset. If you can NOT eject the magazine, then you will need to "open up the can" and do a manual eject with power assist by moving the gears while pushing the eject button. Sounds like a lot, but for me it's easy. Remember patience!!

CD doesn't work

If this error appears on any music CD (burned or store-bought), it's likely the laser/lens assembly is having trouble focusing well enough to read the disc. You can try resetting the unit (use a paperclip or ballpoint pen to press the button in the small hole next to the eject button), but there's only a small chance this will help. You could also take it to an electronic repair shop to see how much a cleaning would cost (usually more than the player).

If it only happens on burned discs, try changing brands of CD-Rs or even burning the disc at a slower speed. If the songs are burned from iTunes, try burning other formats (i.e. MP3) via a different method.
