My AR-S115PS Subwoofer keeps cutting out.
check your speaker impedance by multimeter normally speaker ohms range from 8,6 or 4 ohms see your speaker spec. possibility speaker short, so impedance become too low when driving with strong bass become over current and cut out. if this is the problem the only solution is change the speaker only.

Acoustic Research ARS115PS Subwoofer, No Sound
I have the same problem with the smaller AR 112PS speaker and since Acoustic Research went out
of business, I too have been looking for a solution. I may have found
an alternative to throwing away this really nice speaker. I found a
company on the web that appears to sell an amp that may fit nicely into
this speaker enclosure for $99.00. Check it out...

I have a pair of acoustic research "active
DC 12v adapters are common and I think that would work. The similar "Powered Partner" speakers used a 14v DC adapter. Just check the size of the plug and the configuration (center pin is +). Radio Shack and other sellers have universal adapters.

Subwoofer wont power auto on
your question too brief, no one can help. be more details so that can understand on your problem. or else there may have too many possibility to cause the problem happen.
