Hi .Sounds like the oven thermostat is faulty.,This gives a supply to the element .The temp indicator should be lit, if it is not, then I would suggest repl;acing the oven thermostat.

Use a Stanley (or similar brand) window scraper. Hold it firmly and always flat against the glass and scrape that browm muck away. Be careful not to let the points on either side of the blade to dig in as this will scratch the glass.

This type of cleaning is carried out on ceramic/halogen hobs so is ok to use on interior slass oven doors.

The only solution here is to use the largest self tappimg screws you can find to secure the element to the oven top as the metal has corroded away.

Hi the spare part solution is to replace the oven liner. not economic and difficult to do. If engneering minded you can make a long slide clip i have made some out of an old oven shelf grid.forming a shape similar to a tent peg in shape and size and sliding it horizontally through the grill retainining bracket and hole in the oven liner. not easy to explain this but it works on aeg bosch and neff ovens with the same fault.

If your electric oven is not heating then you probably have a bad heating element in your oven. This is not that hard to fix yourself...

There is a cooling fan in the cabinet of the oven which is not working either the fan is faulty or the controling cut in stat is, The fan should run when the grill is selected if does not it is more likely to be the fan/motor at fault.
