Magic Chef CER3725AA Electric Kitchen Range - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
When I put the power
the model number is CER3725AA but you left out one letter at the end.there's a computer board in this also the clock assy. everything runs through this,it sounds like the clock assy.is bad or you can check the sensor first but it sounds like the clock.on older machines this would be a runaway thermostat but the computer does this now.first you can try shutting the power off to the machine for 5 minutes to see if it clears the computer, sometimes they have to be restatrted just like your house computer,if that doesn't help you can try changing out the sensor, this tells it how hot it is in the oven, there should be a tech sheet on the back of the top console or down near the draw,it will tell you how to read out the sensor with a meter,i think it's 1080 ohms but the sheet will tell you,if the sensor is good it's gonna be the clock assy.the part numer is 5701M829-60 and it's 180 dollars.the sensor part number is 12001656 and it's around 45 dollars.good luck.

Replaced baking element and still
take a multimeter and assure that you have power coming to the element you need to take off the rear panel of the range as well as the panel that covers the control board assure that you have power going to the control board and then leaving the control board as well if it is not leaving the control to go to the switch then you would replace the control board if it is leaving the control board yet not going past the switch then you would replace the switch any further questions message me back and please rememeber to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situations Thanks Rick

I have a magic chef
Hello there:
Magic chef ovens and various other models of ovens have this no cancel feature this is due to the intense heatthat is generated during the cleaning process Normally if you press and hold the cancel button for 10 seconds this may cancel it out but the oven door will remain locked untill he temperature gets back to around 100 degrees see the cleaning temperature are almost around 600 degrees ok also you can unplug the oven and leave it set for at least 1 hour to allow the internal reset feature to reset the oven ok this has been known to take care of this problem too ok
Hope his is very helpful for you
Best regards mike

Magic Chef Broiler won't turn off
If this is brand new you need to get this taken care of under warranty. Any thing you try to do to repair will void the warranty and with all the electronics on this stove you want warranty to repair. Sorry I wasn't much help but you don't want the warranty voided.

Magic Chef Oven 3888VRA beeps and shows F-1.
Hi this is indicating a Defective touch pad or clock (ERC).
This simple test will help determine whether the ERC (Electronic Range Control board or Clock) or the touch pad is defective when F1 error code is present. Follow carefully, and with caution.
Note: Some models incorporate the touch pad in to the ERC as a single assembly, in which case this test is not necessary. Simply replace the ERC (Clock).
Warning: Do not preform this test if you feel as if you are not qualified to do so. Contact your local service depot, if needed.
1. Disconnect power to the range (unplug the range power cord or turn the power off to the range at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power to the range has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing.
2. Gain access inside the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC.
4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the F1 code comes back (usually accompanied by a beeping sound).
7. If F1 comes back, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.

MY OVEN WILL NOT GET
are you sure it's only reaching 220 degrees Farenheit? Many stoves can be set to display either in Farenheit or Celsius. You didn't post a model # but if you look in your use and care guide you can change it back to Farenheit scale Hope this helps
