Volume control does not work

Hi,

Try to simply disconnect and reconnect the right channel cable to the sub woofer..
If it doesnt work, try removing all the cable and reconnecting, but use the part of your finger behind the knuckle and it will work..

This usually happens in most of the JBL Creature II reciever..

Please leave me comment, if this solution doesnt work or if you need further assistance

Headphones and speakers are in mono

Sounds like the jack on the computer is worn, dirty or bent therefore not making good contact with the plugs. The solution is to replace the jack, which is labor intensive- mostly to get to it inside the case and then you need the part (jack) Soldering may be necessary.

Both speakers have sound, but some of it will not play.

You have connector problems- probably bad/bent/worn "jacks" in the speakers or they may be dirty (oxidation, etc) or fatigued. If you can get to the Jack on the inside of the speaker make sure it is making good contact with the plug. Clean the surfaces using alcohol on a Q tip or cloth. Many of these type speakers are not serviceable.

Still sounds like my speakers are in mono

Make sure that the speaker config is set to stereo or surround, depending on speaker capabilities. Once you run the speaker config in sound devices you should be all set. Hope this helps.

Low volume on creature speakers

Your speaker volume must have reset. You have to touch the dots on the right speaker to turn up the volume to desired volume. I just remembered that on my system. Hope this helps.

JBL Creature Speakers have very low volume

I had the same problem. Then I read about the volume controls on the right speaker. They are silver buttons for me on the front bottom left and right of the speaker. Now they play really loud!

JBL Creature -- speakers only work when directly connected

Check that you are fitting the connectors into the subwoofer correctly.
Each plug is keyed (the plug is shaped so that it will only fit into the correct socket).
It is very easy to think you have plugged them in when in reality they are just 'located' in the holes.
