NIKON MH26 BATTERY CHARGER BLINKING GREEN LIGHTS

A blinking green light means the charger is charging the battery. A steady green light (same LED) means that charging is complete. If the light never stops blinking and we assume that your charger is working correctly, you may have a defective battery. Rechargeable batteries do not last forever. After a few years, there ability to take and hold a charge declines. It may be time to buy a new battery.

Why does new memory card displays CHA?

The "CHA" means the camera cannot read the card here are a couple of reasons why this may occur. The most probable is that the card didn't seat properly when you put it in so try reseating it. CHA can also mean that the camera has detected an invalid partition type. Reformatting the card may allow it to be used.

There is Full showing and blinking when i pressed the shutter of my Nikon D80

This indicates that your SD card is full and should be replaced with an empty card. If the new card has never been used before, be sure to format it. If you don't have another card, download the pictures from the full card then erase or format the card and you can then reinstall it in the camera. The numbers on the lower left side of the control panel show the number of shots remaining on the SD card.

Nikon d90 error showing and doesn't ftre

On page 256 of the D-90 users manual it says that ERR indicates a camera malfunction that can be cleared by releasing the shutter. On my D-90 when this occurs, I have to turn the camera off to make the shutter release. Sometimes, but rarely, I have to remove and reinstall the battery to get the shutter to release. The manual also says that if this error occurs frequently or persists to contact n authorized Nikon service center. I suggest that you contact Nikon tech support at www.nikon,com before you contact a service center to see what tech support advises. I have heard of people resolving this problem by upgrading the firmware (camera software). Nikon tech support can tell you if this will help.

What nikon cameras have date stamp

Every Nikon camera records the date and time (and a lot more) in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Nikon D80 showing empty battery

Are you using the same charger for all of the batteries? If so, you might want to try another charger. I had a charger for my batteries (I have a D7000) that turned out to be bad. It would show it charging and then having charged them, but they were still dead. If that's not the case, check the contacts inside the camera, that they are clean and free of debris. Those little gold contacts needs to match up nice and solidly. If it's still a no-go, call 1-800-NIKON US (1-800-645-6687) 9AM-8PM EST, Monday through Friday.

Nikon d5000 says lens not fitted

Still make sure you did turn the lens till it clicks. You could remove the lens, and clean all contacts both from the camera and the lens, with a dry and clean cloth. Don't use any sharp tool in or close by a camera. After cleaning, refit the lens. If the error comes back, try another lens, to locate if the lens has an error, or the camera does.

Looks cracked inside when I turned it on

Even when the camera is in a pouch, or a camera bag with the right pressure on the wrong place the display can crack. Even when with the monitor cover (If your camera has one) this can happen. I'm afraid you can't fix it yourself. But every Nikon service centre can do the job for you. You can ask in advance what it will cost. If you think it is too much, you always can buy a new Nikon and use your lenses. The Nikon's that don't have a monitor cover, are very cheap these days.

Oops, look how your command rail on the left side is. My guess it is not on S (single shot) but on the remote sign just next to Mup. I think you never forget after this.

Display screen not light up

Are yo using a stock Nikon battery or an aftermarket brand?? Nikons cameras are all famous for their batteries not staying in their compartments tight which means your battery in not getting a good, solid connection. Open the battery compartment and put a tiny piece of folded paper on top of the battery (on the end where you close the door, not the side with the contacts) and then carefully close the lid, this will create more pressure on top of the battery making a stronger contact. Hope that helps.
