Where is the IR on a Symphonic TV?
You are asking about the infrared sensor position, I assumes, and posts this solution. The infrared sensor can be located just behind the infrared sensor window at the front panel of the TV. You have to open the TV and take out the front panel control board out to access it. It is a three terminal component, can be bought from most of the electronic spare part shops at your town, and won't cost more. It will look like this.

How do I set the aspect ratio on a Symphonic WF20L6
There is no aspect ratio adjustment can be seen in the user manual of your TV. Try change the aspect ratio of the picture by PC. If you are interested to get a copy of the user manual to your TV, send your email address to me, and get a copy of it by return mail.

WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO WATCH ANY CHANNELS
If you are on a protected channel where you are getting the "Protected Program by TV-etc" you have to get out of that channel and go to a channel that is not protected. That will allow you to hit your "Menu" button and access the V-Chip settings on your
TV. Depending on the type of TV you have, you may end up using your Vol Up button as a sort of "Enter" button. Hope that helps!

HelloThe remote sensor inside the circuit board of your TV is faulty. It is the component that receives the infrared signals of the remote control. If this component go faulty, no remote control will go with the TV. This component can be located on the front panel board of the TV just behind the infrared sensor window at the front. You have to open your TV to locate this component. It is a three terminal component, look brownish black in colour. The sample picture of it has attached here. It is very cheap to buy, and can be bought from most of the electronic sparepart shops at your town. If you have a concept of soldering and resoldering, you can replace this component yourself at home OK.

What's the codes to a symphonic TV trying to
Hello
Three digit universal remote codes for Symphonic TV are:
033/ 053/ 189
Four digit codes are:
0053 0189 0227 0456 0024
Direct Code Entry
- Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
- Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
- Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
- With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand
CODE SEARCH
If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.
- Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
- Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
- Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
- Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
- Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.

When i turn on my
Hello
There are two possibilities for this fault. The first one is solder loose contact in the video output board. Video output board is pluged diretly to the picture tube base. it can be pulled out from it. Be careful not to shake sideways when you pull it out from the picture tube, as it may damage its pins. Normally loose solderigs are very difficult to detect as they will be not visible with naked eye. Keep special attention to the solder terminals of high watt resistors fitted in it. They will heat up during sorking, and repeated heating and cooling make its solder terminals to be get loose contacted. Just resolder all the suspected solder contacts by applying a little more solder, without making any solder bridge short in between adjecent solder terminals. Resolder all the picture tube socket solder terminals also.
Till the problem perists, its video processor IC [Chroma IC] is faulty, and should be replaced with same type and number. OK.
