Why does coffee come out while pouring in water its a bunn 10 cup coffee maker

The Bunn has a little stopper that closes the water drain port in the reservoir while the lid is open. You can see a little white plastic pin protruding up out of the grate with the lid open. When you close the lid, it pushes on that pin which causes the stopper to lift off the drain port, allowing the water in the reservoir to enter the heating tank. If water is entering the coffee basket BEFORE the lid is closed, then something is wrong with that little stopper. It may have a chunk of debris on it preventing it from sealing, or it may be deteriorated, torn, disconnected, etc. Only way to know is to remove the the screws in the grate and pull the top off exposing the reservoir, and the stopper assembly. The little plastic flapper disc should be seated in the reservoir drain port. It should be relatively flat (not wrinkled) and covering the drain port completely. Test it by pouring some water into the reservoir. If it drains out without you activating the stopper, then a repair is needed. Move the lever up and down and check its operation. The arm must move freely and close when released. There should be no dirt or debris on the sealing surface of the flapper nor on the sealing surface of the drain port. Gently clean with vinegar as necessary. If the seal is damaged, then a replacement is required.

Wont heat water

Probably the thermal fuse to the heat element. Use a test meter to run a continuity test through the fuse. You should be able to get a replacement fuse through your local dealer or electronics store such as Farnell, RS Components, Radio Shack etc

My bunn water coning out is warm not hot

Make sure it's getting power, and that the "vacation" switch isn't on. If on a GFCI outlet, press the RESET button - Do Not press the "test" button. If GFCI is located upstream on another outlet, or the breaker (not uncommon), try resetting the breaker or that other outlet. If still no joy, check that the outlet is hot by plugging something else into it. If that item doesn't work either check the circuit breaker for that outlet by moving the lever all the way to the Off position, then back to the On position. You should hear a click like a light switch.

What do I use to clean the inside of my tank

The white film is just mineral (lime) build up, but indicates the whole machine may also have buildup. You can try brewing some plain water with a cup of vinegar added, or get one of the commercial coffee maker cleaning products sold at supermarkets. The film at the very top, visible in the grate, isn't likely to be affected by either cleaning method because the water just passes right through it. For that part, try some full strength vinegar on a cleaning cloth.

Water discharge tube from heated tank is likely caked with mineral deposits. Bunn makes a de-liming tool for just such a problem. Google "bunn deliming tool", or buy it on Amazon. Bunn Deliming Cleaning Spring 01193 0000

Why does the coffee not get hot enough to dissolve powdered creamer?

Make sure the 'vacation switch' is in the OFF position. If that doesn't do it, then suspect a major problem with the heating element and/or associated circuitry.

How do I stop water leak

If you're talking about the model shown in your picture, the leak is most likely between the water reservoir and the tank. Bunn uses a soft silicone seal for that connection that gets compressed over time and starts to leak water whenever you make a pot of coffee. It's planned obsolescence. Bunn won't sell you a new seal. So you have to improvise. But it's simple enough to do. Remove the top cover and the plastic water reservoir right below it. Don't tamper with the little valve that opens when you close the lid. Look for the seal. It could be stuck to the bottom of the reservoir, or sitting loosely on top of the metal tank. Make sure to preserve its top-to-bottom orientation (don't put it back in upside down). Apply a narrow bead of clear silicone into the grooved side of the seal. Press the seal gently onto the reservoir, then apply a thin layer to the smooth side. Re-install the reservoir and reassemble the unit.

Why did the coffee maker leak bad and now just quit wont gety hot

You seem to be saying the unit "leaked: really badly getting water all over; and now the hot plate will not heat up. Such "leaks" are usually caused when the basket is not pushed in correctly so that the water cutoff switch remains closed when it should be open. (The water cutoff valve is what allows you to remove the pot/carafe in order to pour a quick cup even while the coffee is still drip brewing.) If that cutoff vvalve remains closed for more than a minute or so, or less, water will overlow the basket because with its path out the bottom and into the pot is blocked' and it has not place else to go but over the top of the filter basket holder. Now, when such an overlfow (not leak) happens, there is the hot plate right below into which the overflow flows down. As long at it remains wet it will be short circuited and not heat up. So let stand and/or blow or hairdryer heat to remove all water (be sure to unplug coffee maker to to that). Now, once everything including the hot plate are dry, the coffee maker will either work fine, or will need to be replaced.

!0 Cup home Bunn. Does not brew the number of cups of water coffee (water) in craft. 8 cups of water 6cups of coffee.

If you don't brew often enough you will loose a small amount of water in the tank due to evaporation while the tank heater comes on and goes off to maintain the proper brewing temperature, so if it has been a while since you last brewed, without coffee in brew basket put a carafe of water thru the brewer, you will get less than a full carafe out because it fills the evaporated space in the tank first then uses the rest to brew. Once your tank heater shuts off usually 5 minutes on less you will get out all the volume you put in.
