If you are using dsl or faster connection, you don't need your modem anymore. Your computer works fine if you unplug the modem. Except if you still using dial up connection, so in that case buy a new modem.

the dial up speed is very slow, you will need to get a DSL or other faster internet connection.

access the internet form another location like u just did and bring a data cd with or portable drive and got to this page download and store file in cd or drive and insert into affected pc
