Check to see if there is another piece of paper stuck in the scanner. If not, I believe it may be broken.

When removing the tray - turn off printer -
insert try with paper - turn on printer -
you should notice the blue paper meter moving. fixed

If you unplug the machine from the power for a couple of minutes then plug it back in it will most likely display the error code when it warms up. Make sure to watch the entire time as it may then just go back to machine error. Hope this helps!

I suggest to you to reinstall the printer.

remove plastic cover from toner yellow or any color and install toner properly.

1) Press the 3 and 9 buttons at the same time in the ready status.2) "Reset Menu" will appear on the LCD. Scroll to Fuser by pressing up arrow or down arrow button then press the OK button.3) "1. Reset 2. Exit" appears on the LCD. Press the 1 button to reset the fuser counter. The display briefly shows "Accepted".The machine returns to the ready status after a few seconds.

Could be a tab or spring broken off of the feed tray, dirty feed roller can cause that error when paper doesn't feed. Paper guide too tight so that paper can't lift to the feed roller also a possibility. Sensor above paper stack out of position.. many possibilities.
