All four LED's flashing together indicate an error that cannot be cleared by an end user. Normally a service call will be required.I would recommend getting in touch with Brother or a printer technician.

You remove the drum/toner cartridge and run the blue tab on top back and forth several times then blow out the slot with canned air, while it's out you reach inside with a soft cloth and wipe the narrow window above where the drum sits, open the back door and shine a light inside to see if the lines are on the fuser roller, if there you will need a new fuser.

it is something about a problem with the drum! have to clean it up!

Take out the drum and look at it. There will almost certainly be a line of damaged drum surface exactly on the drum where you describe it is on the paper.
replacing the drum is the only option .

1. Open the front cover and leave it open while completing the following steps.
2. Turn the printer off.
3. Hold the 'go' button (or 'start' button) while turning the printer on. All panel lights should be on.
4. Release the 'go' button (or 'start' button).
5. Press the 'go' button (or 'start' button) 2 times.
6. Pause. All panel lights should be on.
7. Press the 'go' button (or 'start' button) 5 times. The toner light should be off (the error may be flashing). The paper light should be on or flashing.
8. Close cover. The ready light should be the only light on.

replace drum or drum unit

disconnect all usb cable from computer .power off again power on press & hold down go button press t times if print , reset printer drive in your computer or not print test page replace drum unit .

replace fuser unit

clean corona wire by green tab

press go button 2 times ,printer and computer is not connected properly .

need printer service ,some times when the laser unit dirty than u should clean all optical mirror inside laser unit. sometime comes from drum , also if the fuser unit defective, last chance change toner cartridge.

problem on paper feed sensor under the drum unit or problem on drum unit.

reset drum counter 1 hold down go button 30 second all light off than press 3 times go button.drum counter reset. after 20,000 page need reset drum counter.

go to printing option .setting paper source automatic.setting paper size or press go button.

if the Drum LED is still lit after replacing the drum unit, the Drum counter may not be reset.
Reset the Drum counter as follows:

1. Open the front cover.
2. Locate the control panel button under the LED lights on the left side.
3. Press the control panel button until all lights are lit, then release it.
   The Drum counter is now reset.

Check the drum. Take the drum and toner out of printer. Remove the toner and check the drum. Probably scratched.

When the toner light is on this means the toner is empty and needs to be replaced before it can print again. Replace the toner and you will be able to print again.

3. Press and hold OK for about two seconds to display Drum Unit, and then press OK.
4. Close cover.
