How do i set a 'spin only programme on my hotpoint
Hi.
This machine does not allow setting spin without using drying programme or without being in a full cycle.
You can use the cycle G pressing the button 6, 7 and 8 times, please see page 12 in the manual below.
Instead of the spin only program you can als use the independent dry program, as shown at page 11 and 15 of the manual.
Manual available here.If you repute this solution helpful, then please do not forget to accept the solution.
Many thanks.

Hotpoint washing machine water fills but will not rotate ,message see user manual.door interlock has to be bypassed .what is wrong?
If it fills with water it is probably not the door lock suggesting a fault with the programmer or motor. If you are getting a voltage to the motor and it is not turning, the motor is likely to be your fault.
Motors can be replaced or new brushes may be all that you need but you are likely to have to take the motor out to check it as they are not usually easy to get to. Brushes are relatively cheap (£5 - £10) but can be difficult to find and a new motor probably around £50.
If you are able to tackle the repair yourself is worthwhile trying the brushes (but be prepared for the repair to take several days to get the parts unless you have a local repair shop around the corner that carries parts). A problem with the windings of the motor would require a new motor in any case.
If you get someone in I expect they would change the motor and not mess about with brushes. An experienced repairman should be able to fit a new motor in an hour and if you outline the problems and they bring a spare motor along with them the cost to repair is likely to be of the order or £100 - £150 (say £80 callout and £50 motor).
Display flashing all the different languages
It could be roaches got into the motherboard electronics. Remove the display PCB and spray it with an non residue electronics cleaner. Dry thoroughly. Be cautious of static discharge when handling PCB. Touch the case of the appliance then the PCB.
My washer is in french
To change the language on the Hotpoint WDD960P/G/A/K washer dryer.
The official manual is slightly wrong!!
So Follow these steps:
With the machine in the "OFF" position (NO display) Simultaneously press and hold the Delay+Temp+Spin buttons until you hear a bleep and a language is displayed. Let go of the buttons and scroll to your desired language by pressing the "Spin" button until the language you want is displayed.
Inmediatly press the "Drying" button to select it and the display should say "Hello" to acknowledge the selection.
If you take too long in pressing "Drying" it reverts to the previous language.
Happy washings!!!
E30 error code
Error E30 is a motor drive problem. Would check motor brushes as most likely fault.
Thanks for using Fixya.
F26 code
Unplug it and wait a while, the door may finally release the lock. Then google the problem to see what F26 is.
